EXTERIOR
Immediately recognised as the Turbo by its flared rear arches and Whale-Tail rear spoiler this example is finished in a gleaming shade of Grand Prix White. The car stands as a wholly original survivor car and although perfectly usable. presentable and with excellent panel fit and finish it would benefit from some cosmetic attention to be made perfect. Plastics and trim maintain good feel and integrity. with no significant fading or wear. whilst glass. lenses and lights remain chip and mark free. The Turbo graphics are a rare and unusual sight on these 930′s. a special order from new and leaving you in no doubt of the performance promise in store once the boost arrives.

INTERIOR
The tan leatherette works against a deep brown mat and carpet arrangement that contributes to a subtle offset. offering both a patina and aroma that defines '70′s Porsche. Only a minor fraying of the stitching to the driver's bolster detracts from an extremely well kept cabin alongside a little discoloration of the headlining; it does however remain tight and free of unsightly marks or tears. The familiar dash arrangement is particularly clear. with surrounding switchgear and dials in full operational order. The car is equipped with an electric sunroof and a Sony CD / AUX player with Kenwood speakers. although cassette holders remain in place!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Upon ignition the familiar howl of the flat 6 barks into life and settles confidently to a deep idle. The 930/60 here has been subject to a great deal of love and attention over the years. with a turbo. clutch and both brake and fuel lines replaced in the last 3k miles. Upon test the car boosts nicely and works up the rev range in ernest. although that revered turbo delivery requires total focus and attention. The traditional tactility of the 4 speed box remains smooth and easy to use. the drivetrain as a whole feeling strong and precise.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The traditional Fuchs wheels offset the white coachwork and graphics superbly in black. with paint and polished rim in good order. Wheels are wrapped in excellent Michelin rubber with plenty of depth whilst brakes work well with no adverse pitch or pull in remaining true to intended line.

HISTORY FILE
This 930 began its life in Kuwait and was a special order from the owner of the official Porsche dealership and delivered with Turbo decals. Proudly displayed as a showcase in the dealership for the latest Porsche the car was sold to its long term and current owner the same year and with less than 300 miles on the clock. The car spent its early life in Kuwait before residing in the family holiday home in Switzerland and then settling in the UK from 1984.

It has been subject to both main agent and specialist service over the last 30 years. Autofarm were tasked to go through the car with a fine tooth comb in what can only be described as an open cheque book exercise in 2001 where £10k was spent ensuring the car wanted for nothing. Having returned from Tognola Engineering for a full health check late last year. this Turbo has been carefully stored with only occasional use on high days and holidays.
