MGB ROADSTER - OLDER RESTORATION IN "A1" CONDITION for sale

The MK2 MGB was produced between 1967 and 1972 with various improvements including all-syncro gearbox. an alternator. reclining seats from 1970 and altered floor pan but retaining many attractive early features. Confusingly. some refer to cars produced after 1970 as MK3 models but in truth the MGB was constantly evolving until the rubber bumper cars appeared in 1975.

This car is a 1972 MGB roadster in Tarten red with a black interior. The mileage reading is 80k and there are several old MOT certificates. It was imported from the U. S in 1998. converted to RHD and treated to a partial restoration. re-paint and engine re-build at a cost then of over £8k. It presents today in superb condition – the paint. body. chrome and trim are all outstanding and it runs and drives beautifully. The brakes and clutch are excellent and the overdrive works perfectly. There is a comprehensive history file with bills for all the work and an accompanying photo record. Just 3 previous owners. Please call if more detail is required.
