The rover P4 was produced from 1949 until 1964. Beautifully built. stylish and surprisingly slick to drive. the P4 is under valued today and while restoration costs are high it is difficult to find good examples.

This car is a 1959 Rover 90 saloon. It was purchased new in South Africa and kept by its original owners until his death in 1980 then stored by his widow until 1998 when it was sold with just 62. 00 miles from new. In completely rust free but requiring re-commissioning. the body was stripped and repainted. the brakes and suspension were overhauled and the interior was re-trimmed. In 1999 the car was shipped back to the UK and has been further improved and maintained regardless of cost – too much to list here but there are bills for over £3k from 2005 alone. The mileage today stands at 76. 00.

In beautiful condition today. this car is still rust free and virtually unblemished. The body paint and underside are all excellent. We have just completed 200 miles in the car and it is a real pleasure to drive with light steering through the new set of matching cross-ply tyres. The interior is in super condition and there are a set of fitted inertia reel seat belts front and rear.

It comes with a large history file containing many invoices. old MOT's and tax discs. original registration documents from South Africa and a BMIHT heritage certificate. This beautiful classic Rover is ready to use and just about as good as any we have seen. Excellent value. Viewing near Woburn. Beds.
