1976 MGB Roadster 4 Speed Manual 2 Door.

This MGB Roadster is finished in the MG colour of Tahiti Blue with black trim.

It has just benefited from a sympathetic professional paint work and now looks stunning.

Having only had 3 previous keepers the last owner (gentlemen in his 80's) owned the car for 34 years of which the last 8 were on SORN. covered and kept in a dry garage being started on a regular basis.

It has now been recommissioned and has recently passed an MOT with no advisory concerns.

In 1989. 2 new front wings. new door skins. new sills. front valance and fuel tank were fitted.

In 1984 in benefitted new castle sections. inner sills and jacking points.

A full body respray was then completed.

The panel body fit is superb.

At the same time the engine was overhauled. new king pins and bushes. new clutch and master cylinder.

A new alternator. new exhaust system and manifold together with a carb overhaul was done in 1997.

A very rare Sebring Targa hardtop with detachable roof panels is included (see photo).

The soft top fits tightly with all the correct studs and has a zip out rear window.

The Rostyle wheels (5) have been refurbished with chrome wheel nuts and centres and new rim embellishers (see photo) and ride on 2 new rear and 2 good front tyres.

An overdrive is fitted and works correctly and smoothly in 3rd and 4th gears.

The door and boot locks work correctly.

There is an excellent removable alloy luggage boot rack fitted.

A full tonneau and half tonneau (hood cover) are included (see photo) and the tonneau sticks in there original bag.

There is a clear HPI certificate for peace of mind.

The chassis and engine numbers match as per V5 AND HPI.

The engine bay is detailed (see photo) and new plugs and rotor arm fitted. the air filters have been cleaned and refurbished and has the correct rocker cover.

It runs at the correct oil pressure and coolant temperature.

A bonnet sound proof kit has been fitted using heat resistant adhesive.

There is a large history file. handbook. workshop manual. 18 old tax discs. 27 old MOT's from 1981 to present and service and parts invoices from 1980 (see photo).

The interior is extremely clean. having just had new comfortable seats with new foam and webbing professionally fitted.

All the courtesy lights work. door and boot. including the handbrake warning light and fasten seat belts light.

A working radio cassette player is fitted.

The boot is very solid and has a fitted carpet and spare wheel cover. A jack and wheel brace are in the original tool bag (see photo).

New reflective number plates have been fitted with engraved MGB Roadster. the original raised digit plates are also included.

There is a lockable petrol cap. new chrome exhaust trim. twin air horns. mudflaps. passengers side map pocket and comes with a spare set of keys.

I have a written insurance value for £8. 00.

Being nearly 40 years old this MG drives strongly. now coming close to being tax exempt. and is now ready to be enjoyed for that weekend trip for only £6. 95.
