1958 MGA 1489 cc 2 door 3 owners from new £19950 (requires cosmetic work to bodywork)

Firstly this vehicle is stored off site. so please don't arrive without making an appointment to view. as we will need at least 48 hrs to arrange to collect the vehicle from where it is stored. There is a fair amount of cosmetic work. which needs to be carried out to the exterior body work. in particular to the paint finish and panel and door alignments. The amount of finishing is reflected in the asking price. which we feel is realistic.

This current owner brought this vehicle as a "box of parts" some 20 years ago and it has had an extensive mechanical rebuild. starting from a bare chassis. The current owner took numerous photographs of the re-build. over many years and produced a "booklet" of this build. together with a written account of all stages of the build. This is where we will take some of the extracts to describe the condition. Every part of this MGA has been taken to pieces . the chassis sand blasted to get rid of any corrosion. repaired where required. then "chassis blacked" as original. The front suspension and steering has been rebuilt. gear box and of course the engine. The electrics have all been refurbished. with enhancements where it was necessary.

There is also a hard top with a set of side screens. plus the hood was replaced with a new one in blue. to match the powder blue paintwork. We aim to fill in more information over the next few days. so keep watching.
