1976 ROVER 3500

ORIGINAL 2 OWNER CAR. SOLD NEW AT FISKE BROS MOTORS IN BOX HILL (MELBOURNE). I HAVE BOUGHT IT FROM THE SECOND OWNER WHO HAD THE CAR 8 YEARS. IN THOSE 8 YEARS IT HAS NOT BEEN USED VERY OFTEN AND DECIDED TO MOVE IT ON FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO FIX UP AND ENJOY.

MOTOR IS A 3. 5 LTR ALLOY V8 WHICH RUNS AND DRIVES VERY GOOD BUT COULD DO WITH A TUNE UP. RUNS A BIT ROUGH WHEN COLD. ONCE WARN SHE RUNS GREAT. AUTO CHANGES GOOD AND BRAKES WORK FINE. SEEMS PRETTY TIGHT ON THE ROAD.

INTERIOR IS NEAT AND TIDY BUT THE CLOTH ON THE SEATS HAS FRAYED IN AREAS. HOODLINING IS GOOD. DOOR TRIMS ARE GOOD EXCEPT FOR SPEAKERS. DASHPAD HAS ONE CRACK.

BODY IS STRAIGHT. ONE DENT IN RIGHT FRONT GUARD. HAS COUPLE SPOTS OF RUST BUT NOTHING SERIOUS. FEW SPOTS OF SURFACE RUST FROM SITTING OUT FOR FEW MONTHS. PAINT IS PRESENTABLE AS IS AND WOULD ONLY NEED A TOUCH UP AROUND BONNET EMBLEM AS SEEN IN PICS.

CAR IS CURRENTLY REGISTERED UNTIL 15th AUGUST BUT WILL BE SOLD AS IS WITH NO PLATES. NOT SURE WHAT IT NEEDS TO BE ROADWORTHY. BUT DRIVES OK.
