Ferrari : Other GTS

1981 FERRARI 308-GTSi finished in red on tan. This is a highly cared for. and very well kept example of Ferrari's second year of production for the fuel injected 308. This car is currently registered in Ontario. Canada. however. was purchased in Pennsylvania and imported to Canada  approx 12 years ago. While in Canada it has had two owners. the most recent being for 7 years. This car was completely stripped and professionally repainted at a "cost is no object" shop in Toronto. It has had a few touches added to it that a new owner may want to remove. The fender badges are the soft vinyl ones that can be easily heated and peeled off with no paint damage. and also there was a third brake light added below the rear window you can see from the pictures. There were no holes drilled to install this. so again it can be removed with no evidence with careful use of a heat gun to soften the two way tape used. Belts and water pump were replaced 3 years ago. or 4. 00 miles ago. The drivers seat is showing typical wear of colour on the bottom and rear cushion from entry and exit into the car. A simple re-dye would probably want to be considered if it bothers you. The photos were taken on the day of this listing. and the car is on blocks and has not been taken out of storage yet. It has always been stored on blocks to remove the weight off the suspension for the long winter months. as well as being on a battery tender to keep the battery strong. Its a proper numbers matching car. with everything correct in it. with the exceptions of the two items i mentioned earlier. It comes with the complete tool kit. jack roll. and the original owners manual as well as service book. The correct Michelin TRX tires and original wheels are in excellent condition and have about 7. 00 miles on them. If you have been looking for a Ferrari 308. you probably know that some of them have not stood the test of time very well. Its critical to buy a good car for a few dollars more rather than a "great deal" as service and correcting issues on these cars car add of very fast. If the buyer is in United States. I can assist in the importation back in the country. Again. nbsp;because its a previously register US vehicle. it its pretty simple. US Customs will charge 2. 9% on "Invoice" price. I will list this car with a no reserve auction. and the first bidder can possibly own it. I also have it advertised locally. so reserve the right to remove it from Ebay at anytime and sell it using other methods. If you bid. please have your finances in order. and realize that you are entering a legal contract. I don't want to hear your wife won't let you buy a sports car. you thought it had room for the kids. you need an All Wheel Drive. nbsp;etc as excuses not to complete the transaction. This is an extremely close to perfect 308 you will find. If you want one. now is the time to get one.
