This MGB Roadster is finished in the MG colour of Brooklands Green (British racing green) and has just benefited from a full professional respray (to the value of £2. 00) resulting in stunning looks.

The engine was reconditioned in 2008 and the engine block converted to an unleaded head (invoice to back up for £1. 64). Also the master and slave cylinders replaced.

The boot. front footwells and inner wheel arches have been cleaned and rust proofed and are very solid (see photo).

Excellent M. W. S chrome 72 spoke bolt on wire wheels are fitted. Together with locking chrome nuts (would cost £1180 new) and ride on excellent tyres.

The hood is an excellent tight fit. in good condition with clear perspex (see photo).

There is a full tonneau cover and half tonneau (hood cover) (see photo) with the correct studs and fittings.

A detachable perspex windstop is fitted (see photo).

New reflective number plates are fitted with engraved "MGB Roadster". also silver on black plates for exhibit and shows.

The interior is in excellent condition (see photo) with very comfy black leather reclining seats pipped in green.

The black carpets are very good. a working Clarion radio/CD player with electric aerial and a leather sports steering wheel is fitted.

The boot has a fully fitted carpet set including spare wheel carpet cover and has a new tool bag containing jack and wheel brace.

The interior courtesy lights work inside the car and boot. as does the seat belt warning light.

There is a clear HPI certificate for peace of mind and matching chassis and engine numbers as per HPI and V5.

Halogen headlamps have been fitted.

The exhaust has a nice throaty sound and a new chrome tail pipe has been fitted.

Both door and boot locks work.

The engine bay is detailed and solid (see photo) and is fitted with a high torque starter motor. electronic ignition. new spark plugs. a new Bosch coil. and 20/50 oil.

There is an alloy rocker cover. K and N air filters and triple air horns.

The SU carbs have been cleaned.

The engine runs at the correct oil pressure and coolant temperature.

A new battery has recently been fitted.

A sound proof bonnet kit has been fitted.

The overdrive works correctly and smoothly in 3rd and 4th gears.

There is a large history file containing past parts and service invoices from 1982 to present having thousands of pounds spent. 19 old tax discs. 23 old MOTS and drivers handbook.

I have a written insurance value for £7000.

Also a large number of photos showing the cars restoration in 1994/95.

Being 39 years old it is coming up to be tax exempt when over 40 years of age.
