Think of a pure out-and-out American pony car. designed to bring
out the youth in everyone. powering you and your girl west down
Route 66 and you could well have a '66 Mustang coupé in your mind.
The best-selling Mustang variant of all time with just 249 short of
half a million rolling off Ford's production lines in that model
year.

Presented in Shell Grey metallic coachwork with new black
interior. this stunning example has been totally restored to show
condition over the last two years. This includes a bare metal
respray. new interior. a fully rebuilt 289 Hi-Po engine (4700cc)
including both cylinder heads. electronic ignition with a flame
thrower coil. a new 600 Cfm Edelbrock 4BBL Carburettor. an
Edelbrock Performer aluminium inlet manifold with 8mm silicone
leads. The starter motor is an Impact unit with HD Alternator. br/>Cobra cam covers and air filter housing.
Further back is a brand new five speed Tremec T5 gearbox with a
B&M Shifter and custom made stainless steel gear stick along
with an Alloy bell-housing and a high performance three piece
clutch. rebuilt prop-shaft and back axle.

The black interior is also all brand new including a new GT dash
and a nice period and rare 'Rally Pac' instrument cluster. all new
weather seals. new heater hoses and new heater matrix.
The front and rear suspension has been fully rebuilt with heavy
duty front coil springs over heavy duty shocks. the rear suspension
has also been rebuilt with leaf springs and fully adjustable rear
'Air Shocks'. A new custom built twin stainless-steel exhaust
system with single stainless steel mufflers and polished tips can
be found to the underside.
A Brand new large servo with a new brake master cylinder. new
flexy hoses. front and rear disc brakes. all new copper brake pipes
and 3/8 copper fuel pipes along with a new fuel tank and new fuel
pump are fitted along with all chrome re-chromed or replaced with
new reproduction items along with all new lights front and rear and
H4 Headlamps. New emblems and external weather stripping. engine
bay and boot area detailed with new 7x15 Rocket Racing polished
alloys shod with new BF Goodrich 215/60/15 tyres.
The whole restoration work has been invoiced out at almost £48. 00
the initial cost of the car. It comes with vehicle tax and an Mot
test certificate valid until August. 2015. Needless to say the car
drives perfectly. presents in show condition and if your tastes run
to quality without compromise. this is one of the finest on the
market today.

Interested parties should note that due to the extremely
recent nature of this comprehensive restoration. a period of
'running-in' will be required.
