  You are bidding on a wonderful car of yesteryear. This was built in a time when style was individual and each vehicle on the road had a look of their own. This 1954 New Yorker was the luxury sedan of Chrysler and just looking at it now. you can see why this was driven by people who wanted to be seen. This car also has a very rare and very desirable option – factory Airtemp rear mounted air conditioning! That’s right. this gorgeous ride has factory air! I did a search and I couldn’t find another car on the market this clean with air conditioning. They just aren’t out there. The most famous 54 New Yorker is Howard Hughes’s with an aircraft-grade air filtration system which took up most of the trunk. That car was well into the six figure range when it crossed the auction block a few years back. This one obviously is not owned by a newnowed American pioneer of industry but it is in good company.

  This stunning New Yorker is in great restored condition. The body is straight and the paint shows well with a nice shine to it. The chrome and trim are quite possibly original in good shape. The front bumper has a ding in it. The underside is clean with solid floors and frame. It was painted black for a clean appearance. The glass is in good condition. It has recently installed wide white wall radial tires. The interior was restored and is very nice. The plaid and vinyl seats are like new. The flooring is nice. The headliner shows well as well as the door panels. She features factory rear mounted Air Conditioning. Heat. AM Radio. She is powered by a great running 331 Hemi. This engine runs well as has enough power to get to highway speed with ease. The engine compartment is very well detailed for show. The transmission shifts well. Power steering and power brakes help make this a car easy enough to drive for anyone. The suspension rides really nice and drives wonderful.

  Overall. you are buying a very clean restored Chrysler New Yorker with extremely rare trunk mounted Air Conditioning that is in fabulous shape. You are not going to find a better one on the market.
