We have a portfolio of maintenance records dating back to 1986 to current along with the window sticker & Mercedes Benz' 1984 book detailing the various models and options. This luxurious car is showing just over 220. 00 miles and is still a pleasure to drive. These cars are quite reliable and this one is no different thanks to meticulous care & service over the years. A well cared for example. this car was sold new in San Jose. California for just over $52. 00 in 1984 dollars. We have receipts for thousands spent in maintenance through the years. The most recent work performed includes brake service & replacement and new Michelin tires installed 4. 00 miles ago with verifying receipts. The transmission was also serviced at that time. The engine has been checked and given a mild tune up with new spark plugs and the throttle body serviced. all work performed in late 2013-14.

The photographs were largely taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum. located only minutes from Texas Classic Cars of Dallas' showroom. Be sure to visit our friends at the Flight Museum should you find yourself in Dallas. Texas.

This long wheel base Mercedes provides plenty of room for passengers front to back. The glass is tinted all around and the power windows are functional.

The driver's rear bumper and quarter panel show minor damage. photographed above.

The interior showcases the original black leather upholstery. in good condition throughout with some fade and wear from age. mainly on the driver's seat. altogether very presentable and serviceable.

The dash displays all original instrumentation including the Becker Grand Prix AM/FM Cassette stereo.

There are two hairline cracks on the dash. near each speaker cover.

The front and back seat upholstery shows well. Again. there is plenty of room for all passengers.

Under the hood is the factory 5. 0 liter V8 engine. This example runs out strong. paired with the 3-speed automatic transmission. Recent work performed includes replaced spark plugs. replaced front shocks and transmission service - filter & fluid replacement. The engine underhood insulation is missing. The engine itself features factory components and has been very well maintained. The engine compartment is in good condition. displaying original decals and marks along with the original sheetmetal throughout.

The door panels are in good condition and the door undersides are solid throughout.

The trunk is clean and detailed. complete with the spare tire. wheel and jacking equipment.

The front shocks were recently replaced.

The factory chromed wheels are fitted with nice Michelin Primacy MXV4 all-season radial tires all around (205/65R15s) This Mercedes is excellent daily or weekend transportation. The winning bidder must submit a 20% non refundable deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle unless other arrangements are made with us.
 
PAYMENT METHODS
 
Our preferred method of payment is bank wire transfer. or 3rd party financing. We can work with you if that is a problem. All funds must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment or approved financing in place before making your final bid. Feel free to call us with any questions.
 
PAYMENT OF BALANCE DUE
 
The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 5 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before the vehicle leaves our dealership.
 
TAX. TITLE AND LICENSE

We are a licensed Texas dealership.  It is required that we collect all tax. title and license fees from Texas residents at the time of the sale. We will do all of the title work. Non Texas residents are responsible for paying taxes in his/her state. Overseas customers will be charged a $30. 00 fee for wire transfers. We must collect a vehicle inventory tax of . 002277% and a small documentary fee of $75. 00 on ALL sales.
 
SHIPPING
 
The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We can refer you to a number of national and international shippers. Once the vehicle leaves our dealership. we will take no further responsibility for the vehicle.
