                                                           1975 Triumph TR6

Here is you chance to purchase a British Racing Green TR6. British Racing Green with Tan interior is the most popular color combination available for these classic British  roadsters. This car looks and shows well for a now 40 year old car! Below are some specifics:

-The car came from Tennessee and was owned by a British car enthusiast since 2000. He had over $5000. dollars of service and mechanical work done on the car and then only drove  300 to 400 miles in the next 15 years. Always started and driven in the spring and then pretty much kept under a car cover the rest of the year. The Tennessee Title stated the car came from Florida and their is an engine oil service sticker from Sarasota. Florida and states the next service due is at 30. 00 miles. The car now shows 30. 76 miles. I was told that the car has original miles. but. I have no way to verify. The car's dash and steering wheel are both in spectacular condition. Most of the paint on the car looks shiny and nice. there are a couple of door dings on the passenger side and one kind of small depression vertical dent on drivers door towards the front. isn't very noticeable. but there nonetheless! I would say the car paint is driver quality. but not perfect. just average.

In June 2003 JD'S British Cars in Nashville performed these repairs. Rebuild entire cooling system. Remove and completely rebuild the rear end with all new components. Remove and replace the exhaust system. Remove and replace all air pump and alternator belts. Replace upper and lower control arm bushings. ball joints. tie-rod ends. steering rack boots. sway bar links . hub bearings and seals. Repaired and rebuilt both carburetors.  Not sure why all this work was done if the car had only 30. 00 miles. but. was a 28 year old car at the time. Car was fitted with 5 new red line  tires and  tubes  and then had a 4 wheel alignment. The car drives very nice. I have the receipts for all work performed in 2003. Other misc. things were repaired on the car at this time.

The engine starts right up even in the really cold weather. idles. shifts. and brakes very nicely. No grinding at all in the gears as you up or downshift. Car does not appear to smoke or use any oil. Also. does not leak any oil other than a very small spot or two after sitting. The car has very low mileage tires. a nice spare. and what appears to be a very nice original black convertible top. The car has a very nice Tan boot cover as well as a full black tonneau cover. Also. the interior looks to be original with no rips in any of the seats etc. carpets are nice too. The car also has a working AM/FM Boman radio which I think was an option at the time for these cars. All in all a nice car for the money! These Tr6's are becoming very collectable and usually priced 16k to 25k. Now is the time to buy before prices go up in the spring. I am selling this car at a very reasonable reserve. Car also comes with receipts for work done in 2003 and a service manual etc.

The car has a clear Missouri Title that matches the VIN plate number on the drivers door. I can meet a car shipper with the car or hold the car for a month or two until you can come to St. Louis and pick up etc. cars can be shipped door to door at very reasonable prices.  Someone called and asked if the paint on the left side was all the same shade and I assured him it was. For some reason. the door looks a tad different in the picture. nbsp;but. it isn't. I do have more pics of the car if anyone is interested. Ebay will not allow me to add any more pics of the car. Text or call with e-mail address and I can send.

People have called and asked about reserve and paint code numbers. I went ahead with a Buy it Now price and reserve under that price. Also. the car's paint I believe is all original. It appears to be a BRG  original color with a door code paint color 75 and a trim code 74. The paint on hood and sides is very nice with the paint on rear trunk lid shiny and nice. but crazing or checking when you look close. The car has a few minor touchups on the paint from paint defects. the car has great potential and you do not have to pay 16k to 25k. the car doors close nicely with no sagging as do the hood and trunk.

Someone asked if there is a crack in the tachometer glass. The answer is no. the picture does show what looks like a crack. but. must have been something weird with the lighting. All of these pictures were taken within the last week. Inside and outside pictures. Be happy to send more if someone wants  a close up of a particular area of the car.
