Ford : Mustang

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION I have for sale a 1965 Mustang coupe that looks good. runs good and I consider the body very good. Its powered by a good running 289 engine. connected with a C4 automatic transmission. the brakes are drums with a power booster. the interior is very good. the lights and gauges work. the underside looks very solid to me. the white paint is very good. the chrome good and the glass clear.

VIN 5F07C272889 The title matches the VIN stamped on the car.

MILES: 46996 reading and I'm sure you can add another 100. 00 even though things look great.

HISTORY: We bought the car at the Cabin Fever Car Show in Knoxville. Tennessee. The owner was the retired fire cheif of Knoxville. He was just tired of the car and working on 2  more. He bought it from a man that lived in Maryville. Tennessee. the title does say 2 states of registration was Tennessee.

TITLE: Tennessee title in hand. it is clear and the numbers match.

HAS THE CAR EVER BEEN WRECKED? I see no signs of a wrech. the sub-fames are straight and the sheet metal is not kinked.

DOES THE CAR HAVE RUST? I consider this a super solid car! The floor. trunk pan and quarter look original to me. The under side has very thin under coating so you can see the metal. Some rusty color. but no rust issues. the frames and floors are solid.

HOW DOES THE CAR RUN? I think it runs very good. it starts good.

HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? I think it drives good. Mustangs were not famous for handling. This one drives as good as you can expect. It is not power steering so it is a little heavy on parking. but its great on the road.

HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? I think it stops real good. The brakes are drums on all 4 with a power booster added.

HOW IS THE PAINT? Nice driver quality paint! The body is straight when you look down the sides. no dents. no dings. 4 or 5 touched up chips.

HOW IS THE INTERIOR? I consider it very nice. the headliner is nice. seat show no wear. no cracks in the dash. carpet good. a few pits in the painted area.

HOW IS THE CHROME? Very good consition.

HOW IS THE GLASS? The windshield looks new. no wiper marks. no milky places and no cracks. The side windows roll up and down decent.

HOW DOES THE EXGHAUST SOUND? I like it. it has a little sound. but not super loud. it is dual exhaust and in very good used condition.

WHAT IS THE ENGINE? Its a good running 289 with a 4 barrell Edelbrock carburetor added. It has no knoks. no pings and no blue smoke that I see.

WHAT IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a C4 automatic that I think shifts good.

DOES THE COWL LEAK? I found no leaks when I checked it and past owner said it did not leak.

DO THE LIGHTS WORK? Yes. even the consol lights.

WIPERS WORK! HEATER BLOWER WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORKS!

SPEEDOMETER WORKS! HORN WORKS!

WHAT IS THE RADIO? Its a after market that fits without cutting the dash. there is a Disc Changer in the glove box. Speaker could be up graded.

HOW ARE THE TIRES? Radial with good tread. 14 inch.

HOW ARE THE HUBCAPS? They are original spinner hubcaps that are not new. but very nice used condition.

WILL I TAKE A TRADE? No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
