One of the quickest 124's. on the planet.  Beat that Alfa!  Although I LOVE the Alfa Montreal iand I think it was the hottest car ever made!I doubt autocheck could find a vehicle history and I'll list the vin later.  I've listed this car before and have had two buyers back out.  It's not a plaything and it does need body work.  I bought the car in 2003 off ebay and drove it a little with the original 4 banger in it.  I remember it pulled to the right awfully bad.  It since had a professional builder. who builds quarter mile cars. rework it to include 17 inch wheels and low profile tires. wilwood fiat disk brakes on the front. chevy brakes on the rear drilled to accept 4 bolt wheels. a 94 Corvette LT1 engine with a 700r4 transmission set up with shift kit that I personally went out to Detroit and bought new.  The engine sits lower and further back towards the driver than the original little bitty 4.  The ignition is accessed through the panel below the windshield as well as the back of the engine and of course it has a new firewall. floorpan. transmission hump. etc.  The wiring is from Painless.  It has a nitrous system directly tied to the gas pedal and it has a 100 hp shot in it now. capable of 150.  It has a 22 inch driveshaft that turns a shortened camaro rearend with Tom's Kick Ass Axles rated for over 500hp. chrome moly steel trailing arms. positrack with 3. 83 gearing.  The suspension and shocks are original Fiat.  The interior has used guages that he put in so the mileage is not right.  It has around 20. 00 or less miles on it as it is only used in the summer and hasn't been driven for the last 2.  It has an obd2 corvette computer custom programmed that is inserted near the passenger side firewall. It has a four speed stick on the floor with reverse lockout and the nitrous blow button is located there also.  Under the dash is the nitrous arming switch for the gas and the heater switch for the bottle heater.  The bottle is located in the trunk passenger side with of course the original spare. gas tank and battery compartment.  The roll cage is 6 point and it has a Personal. (brand name). wood and aluminum steering wheel.  It has a new top with a square corner front windshield bar.  I have a rounded bar off a car I took apart if the new owner would like to switch over to that type. (which I think is more streamlined).  The front hood has been custom louvered up the sides and the middle and the airbox gets it's air from the front passenger side front bumper connection hole.  The front bumper is going to be taken off and my original plan was to use headlights that have the blinker in them as with what I used in another Fiat I had totally restored in candy apple red.  This car will need some work to the driver's side front fender as I have a step daughter that doesn't know how to look behind her when she backs her car down the driveway.  There are a couple of rust holes around the rear wheel wells.  I had a professional appraisal done and it came in at $15. 00 and twice that if I had the body work done.  The wheels have some driveway scrapes on them and it does have custom made headers as well as dual exhaust from the engine back.  It gets 25 mpg on the highway but not much romping around town beating big block cars in informal races.  I've had it to 160 on the highway with plenty more oomph to go.  It just floated a little too much at that speed and it was awfully noisy.  It has a supra rack and pinion steering system in front added due to the extra weight.  It needs a new starter but I'm having that replaced.  Hard to do when you don't drive it anymore as I'm out of town most days.  There's a video of a burnout on youtube that I did that's too short but you can get a feeling about the car. especially when it bumps into gear.  The car also has no power brakes. their just reservoirs that lead directly to the brake system. what the guy who built the car puts on his drag car.  It has new brake and fuel lines also.  Look up nitrousburnout. mp4 on youtube.  It went 80 in about 2 seconds.  It'll smoke the tires in 3rd and 4th gear and it's definately a sleeper.  You cannot get this kind of custom work anywhere for this price.  If you try to do it yourself. it will cost you way more than what I have the car for sale here on ebay as.  Try at least 40 grand.  Those cars you see at car shows?  The nice ones could have 100 thous. into them easily.  I'm done spending money on this car.  It was a project for me as a bachelor and I'm married now with different interests.  I haven't driven the car except to move it in the driveway for the past 2 years or to get the oil changed.  It's funny though going to an oil outfit that thinks they have all your info ready for you when you go to the desk. "oh a fiat". no a vette" even at the chevy dealership.  I still like Fiats. don't get me wrong. but I have my eye on a 50 foot twin masted boat in Mexico and I'm 56 years old.  Ready to move on. besides. I can always buy a cheap little 4 banger.
Be aware that shipping by car carrier usually isn't cheap and You are responsible for the shipping.  Thanks!  Good luck and bid a lot. (boats cost a lot). (holes in the water where you pour in more money).

So. rereading my description. it sounds like I want $40. 00.  That's what I spent.  It's for sale here for close to 10% of that.  Hope that helps

On Jan-13-15 at 23:07:30 PST. seller added the following information:

The front disk brakes are called "WHOA" brakes through a Fiat outfit. some of you Fiat fans probably know who it is.  They're Wilwood and with the wheel off. they're really easy to change out the pads.  The pads that are on it are racing pads so they squeak a bit.
The title is Wyoming and it is a standard clear title.
I also have an extra set of Fiat seats in green velour. (yuck). they came out of a 67 spider (original year). that I carved up because it had a terminal case of rot.  I would have like to have gone back to small seats although Fiat seat pans are pretty flimsy. (ever notice the driver's seat in most spiders kind of leans to the right?  Yeah. us fat old guys trying to relive the glory days.  I also have a nice. nice windshield with the rubber around it as well as a rounded front convertible bar. in case you'd like to go from the 76 front square edge one to a more rounded model.  The spare is original fiat although. I don't think it will fit as I'm thinking about it because:  The back chevy rotors were new. drilled to fit a four bolt 100mm pattern and in order to not have to carry 2 different size spares. the front wheels have a heavy duty aluminum spacer with bolts drilled and set on 100mm also.  What else?  The hood as you can see in the pics was custom hand louvered up the sides and in the middle. (a $500 item).

On Jan-13-15 at 23:10:23 PST. seller added the following information:

So as soon as I clicked "save" I'd forgotten something else.  A common point of weakness in old 124 Spiders is the top of the shock towers.  They tend to rust out.  These are not damaged.

On Jan-13-15 at 23:50:23 PST. seller added the following information:

OK. must be late and I'm loopy.  One other thing I uploaded pics a while ago to a gallery at italiancarclub.  That is a dot com site.  I can't allude to an internet site on ebay as it has some really good software and won't allow it.  If you're not sure google those three words put together.  It has pictures of the build as well as the other car shown quickly in the video of the car I had redone for my wife.  These cars look excellent with the bumpers off and the front/rear bumper shock holes filled in.  That car had aftermarket headlights with the blinker built into the headlight. cool!  It's the one in candy apple red with the red alfa like seats in the interior. It was sold as my wife would rather drive her KIA. whatever.  It went to Billings. MT to a very happy customer also at a fraction of what I put into it. (that means no more cars for the wifey).  I think there's a pic or two of some I cut up as well as a Triumph Spitfire I also had. (that's a flimsy car).
Also. I didn't get the car in 2003 per those pics I got it in 2001. no matter. it still hasn't been driven much.  Since I teach 150 miles out of town and it's winter here. and the roads can be bad. I don't drive it in the winter.  I have driven it to Ethete on the Wind River Reservation where I teach special education.  It's normally a 2 1/2 hour drive.  One year when my dog. (favorite border collie). was having seizures. I made it to Casper in an hour.  It floats at 160 and that's real disconcerting.   It's also deafening.
One other thing.  As you notice the engine goes beyond the old firewall. the plate where the windshield washer arms are attached can be removed. (I've never put the screws back in.  Because the engine is a lot longer than the original 4. something had to be sacrificed which is another reason why I don't drive this in the winter.  There is no heater. (no room for it).  The firewall gets plenty hot in the summer so summer nights you can warm your hands on that!
Also. as this is a vette motor. and I had bought it new in Detroit attached to the 700r4 with the shift kit in it. it came with plastic plugs in the sparkplug holes.  Since it's corvette. it's aluminum.  The heads are aluminum.  On the 94 LT1. they were notorious for the ignition being on the front lower half of the engine.  Well. moisture would get in here and they would fail.  The ignition has been moved back to that area above and behind the engine and it's custom again.  It's a Deltec ignition. (another pricey item).
In my search for a little more oomph. I had the throttle body. originally a 37mm I believe. replaced with a 58mm I think Edlebrock as well as a completely new intake.  Well the engine runs good but it seems it doesn't have that punch off the start as it once did that would make your passenger grab the door and the windshield and holler "Holy Sh**".  My mechanic. (Wayne Glasgow. ho built the car.  formally of Powerstroke Performance in Casper. who now lives across Hoover Dam towards Kingman in White Hills. Arizona. he said the computer probably needs to be reprogrammed to accompany that change.  It runs well still with 25mpg on the hwy. (in the summer).  Wayne can build you anything from scratch.  You should see his wind generator. I want one!Google Wayne Glasgow and look at the pics of his Chevy over 200mph car that he built himself.  Talk about a deafening engine.  I stood beside it at Bandemere as he revved it. and it about jarred my brain loose.  It's a nitrous injected-blown blue chevy camaro that runs on alcohol.  He and his son. Wayne Jr. built the car. Wayne Jr. custom builds cars at Steve's Hot Rod Garage in St. George. Utah.   Friend them on Facebook. they would build one for you probably cheaper now that they know how to do it.
