1985 'B' Rolls Royce Silver Spirit. 2 owners from new and just 29000 miles.

This is a stunning low mileage. 2 owner car which we managed to acquire from a very wealthy enthusiast owner who bought the car as a Christmas present to his wife in 1995. just as his business was starting to take off. The car was part of an extensive collection of vehicles which the gentleman very kindly spent time showing us and included a fully restored 1929 Bentley. an original 1937 Bentley with just 15. 00 miles. a 1960's Mustang with only 600 miles. a Mustang convertible. Ford GT40. Lola T70. Jaguar E Type convertible with just 18. 00 miles etc. All of the vehicles were in truly exceptional condition and shared storage space with two Spitfire aircraft - and of course the gentleman had his own runway within his grounds to fly them off ! The gentleman was obviously very proud of his cars and took great pleasure in showing us around his collection. daily drivers were a Supercharged Range Rover and Bentley Continental GTC.

The gentleman had his own fully equipped workshop on his grounds which included a hydraulic ramp and all vehicles were enthusiastically maintained by the owner and his own personal mechanic to an exceptionally fastidious degree - for example. we have never seen cars with so much attention paid to the underside. all of the vehicles were spotless underneath as though they had just left the factory. including this Silver Spirit. The car had covered 25. 00 miles in 1995 when the gentleman bought the car from the estate of it's original owner and has still not quite reached 30. 00 ! The engine oil was spotlessly clean and the car started immediately and idled perfectly. On test drive the vehicle performed beautifully and is in excellent order reflecting the constant maintenance the vehicle has enjoyed. With so much attention paid to the underside and kept inside a heated purpose built structure - never taken out in the wet - there is absolutely no corrosion whatsoever and barely a blemish on the bodywork. Likewise the interior is practically as new with only the drivers seat showing any signs of use whatsoever. the other seats give the appearance they have never been sat in.

With the vehicle we have an A4 folder containing a large collection of services invoices. parts receipts. every MOT back to 1993. old Tax discs etc.

This is a very attractive vehicle finished in beautiful Nutmeg with Tan hide piped dark brown with brown carpets protected by brown lambswool over rugs. tan top roll and bottom roll. The rear compartment is further complemented by footstools and vanity mirrors.

Specification of the period to include electric seats. split level climate control air conditioning. original Baupunkt stereo which plays tapes but we can't seem to get the radio to work. cruise control. electric windows front and rear. electric mirrors. central locking. headlamp washers. trip odometer. 15 inch wheels with matching Goodyear narrow band whitewall tyres all round. all as new.

Supplied with all original keys. original book pack containing owners manuals. service book. tool kit. spare bulbs etc. The white gloves for wheel changing are present and unused. still in the plastic bag !

The car will come fully prepared and supplied with a new MOT. Interesting part exchange considered.

We have been lucky enough to visit some very impressive properties during the course of our business and met some really interesting people but this experience was simply off the scale. A really lovely man. self made and a genuine car enthusiast who cherished and cosseted all his cars. Sold only to make room for a brand new Lister Jaguar which is on order. this is a genuine. superb example which we have promised to find a good home.
