This is a real ute made of 2 tones of Detroit's finest steel. It has the biggest engine and big enough tow bar to pull your house off it's fundations. Seriously it's one of Chevrolet's finest.
Real numbers matching SS 454. the very last model with the big block. All original except for the big Cragar SS wheels. B&M Megashifter and some Autometer gauges. New paintjob hides no rust whatsoever. The Yanks love their bondo (putty in aussie terms) but I have gone through with a fine magnet and this vehicle has none. No damage history. every panel straight as a die. Interior is as new condition with original split bench seat in unmarked condition. Tones of storage space behind seat with hidden compartmant reaching under rear. Running gear is strong. engine has 80 psi oil pressure at idle with no noises. tranny shifts hard ( it's T700 4 speed with shift kit) diff is 10 bolt Posi with 4. 10 gears makes it quick off the mark and the fourth gear gives it some fuel economy ( if there is such thing from a 454). It has dual exhaust and a heavy duty tow bar so it's ready for your 40 foot boat or caravan. All chrome is as new and unmarked. overall it's a vehicle 9 out of 10. in my opinion it's good enough to show and guaranteed to turn heads. It did in the US while I was cruising down Sunset boulevard in LA.
It is a real SS with minimal extras but with power steer and air con. Aircon needs new compressor which seized on the way to LA from Oregon. I have driven this vehicle myself from Bend OR to LA about 1200 miles and it did not miss a beat. It starts every time. idles nice but when you put your foot down all hell breaks loose when that 454 comes to life.
It's left hand drive but can be registered in every states with a blue slip which I will supply to buyer.

Price is realistic for what it is. they are getting very hard to find in this condition.
Inspection is welcome and highly recommended before bidding but please do not offer me trades or swaps. I have to sell outright. Call Chris on 02 9793 3332 for appointment.

Good luck and happy bidding.
