Ford : Mustang Shelby Tribute

 
THE BODY AND PAINT
Has been fitted with Shelby/GT 350 stuff like the Hood. racing apron. lower rocker panels. side scoops. rear spoiler. and sequential taillights. The body kit came from mustang depot. the previous owner had the body done and the kit installed.   The shop filled in all the lines of the scoops and rear spoiler and made the car look fully custom.   Every panel and line blends perfectly to give the car a full modern look.   The door handles and truck lock were removed and replaced with a brand new popper system.   The car now has a concourse look from every angle.    The doors and trunk all open by remote now. The headlights were converted to a full halogen (HID) system giving the car modern headlights that are bright and functional.   All new hood pins and a custom grill finish off the car beautifully.   The color scheme is great on this car as the burgundy mates with the silver strips perfectly.   There are Shelby racing parts everywhere you look.   From the gas cap and filler hoses to the emblems.   The body has been reinforced everywhere to prevent ANY body roll.   Double shock towers. extra braces and full frame rails were all professionally installed.      

THE INTERIOR
This Mustang has a complete custom interior. everything from the seats. sound damping material. carpets and all other components were completely replaced.   It is fitted with 69 high back seats and custom door panels.   The Seats were wrapped in two different types of material smooth on the outsides of the seats and perforated on the insides of the seats.   The door panels. rear interior. quarter panels and kick plates are all done using the same method.   Everything is finished with red baseball type stitching.   The dash was wrapped in a smooth material and also given the same red stitching.   This car comes complete with a 1966 center console.  

All rubber parts were replaced with OEM new components.   The kick plates were replaced with genuine stainless steel versions and completed with original Shelby emblems.   All the knobs were replaced with new OEM versions and every switch and component was rewired using modern wires to OEM color codes.   The blower motor for the heater works perfectly on all speeds.   The car was fitted with a modern stereo with the OEM look.   It can play MP4 files. cds and works with any Apple product.   A Hurst shifter with a custom knob is installed and the gears shift tight and smooth.   This car was not fitted with power steering. but the Shelby steering wheel makes the steering feel light and very easy to manage.   Genuine Shelby GT floor mats are used for all four mats.   The glove box. glove box cover and instrument cluster are all brand new using the highest available brushed aluminum parts.   The door and window regulators are also all brand new.   To top the interior off. there is a genuine Shelby owner's manual included.

-Motor starts perfectly every time.   It has been ran and tested over two long road trips.   It has yet to skip a beat.  
 
OIL PAN / BALANCER / COVERS:
- Moroso extra capacity front sump oil pan
- New M68 oil pump with custom pick up tube

-New power bond harmonic balancer

-All new engine gaskets (the cylinder heads are full re-build have just about 5000 miles)

TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH

-World Class T-5 Transmission out of a 91 Mustang GT.   Runs and shifts smoothly as it should.   It cruises very nicely on the freeway.

SUSPENSION AND REAR-END
-Reinforced shock towers keep the car stable under hard cornering
