Up for auction is a very. very rare numbers matching  1966 Triumph TR-4A with only 46. 49 miles on the odometer.  I will make every effort to detail everything I know about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding.   Background: I purchased the car from the brother of the second owner ( he purchased the car in 1974  ). The car was parked in the garage many years ago due to an ignition / electrical failure and there it sat until I purchased the car. I surveyed the car and ordered and large $$ of parts to get her back on the road but due to other projects I'm passing the this lovely rare girl on.      Heritage: I know this to be a true numbers matching car and I have ordered a certificate from the Heritage Center at:  http://www. heritage-motor-centre. co. uk/ To prove it is such. The certificate will be here some time around the end of January ( takes some time with shipping from England and the holidays ) and will pass it along to the new owner when it arrives.
Mechanicals: The engine turns over by hand and being that the car was running when parked and stored in doors I see no major issues with getting her started. In preparation for her wake up I ordered the following NEW parts all of which come with the car. The following items are all NEW: Haynes repair manaul. owners manual. new points. condenser. spark plugs. distributor cap. rotor button. ignition wires. ignition coil. nbsp;valve cover gasket. oil pan gasket. oil filter. radiator cap. nbsp;radiator thermostat. all radiator / coolant hoses. all heater hoses. brake master cylinder. clutch master cylinder. clutch slave cylinder and some other items I just can' think of at this time. NOTE: Due to the car being of the road for so many years ( 10 plus ) the clutch and brakes are down on the car ( whence the new parts listed above ).  The transmission shifts up / down and through all the gears effortlessly with no binding or grinding.  She does roll freely but again no brakes at this time. Interior:   Is in very good condition and I'll let the photos speak for its condition. NOTE: I do have the foot well kick panels and will get them put back in prior to pick up of the car.   Gauge: All gauges are correct for the car and are in pristine condition.     Exterior: The car looks nice in the photos but I need to say the paint is some 30 years old and she is ready for new paint ( has scratches and checkering that might not show in the photos ). The last re spray was done in the early 80's and was done to a high standard as you will find no over spray on any of the chrome. nbsp;body seals or exterior gaskets. Again. the car does need paint or can be driven as she looks.  The car sits evenly and squarely on the ground with no visible signs of leaning or sagging. The wire wheels are in very nice condition and are wrapped in like new high end Michelin tires.   Soft Top: I have the original soft top which is in fair condition but due to long time storage it has shrunk in certain areas and needs to be replaced due to not fitting well on the sides and clouding of the glass. Now don't fret I just SPECIAL ordered a NEW soft top and it should be here to me by 1/6/15 and if possible I'll have it installed prior to the car being picked up. If I don't get the new top installed prior to pick up I'll put the original top back on and the new owner will need to install the new top when the car arrives to there home.   Underbody: The car does have some rust starting on the floor boards and some rust on the outer foot wells ( she is 50 years old and British you know ). From what I can tell the frame looks very good and the car has never been undercoated so she is all original and unmolested.   Trunk: The truck is solid. The car does comes with a spare tire and wire wheel   Title: I just got around to applying for the title last week and the NC DMV says due to the high volume of new car / used car sales this time of year it might take 3 weeks or so to receive the title ( it is the DMV so give more than take on there estimate of the title being issued ). I do have my NC state issued vehicle registration and a Bill of Sale for the car ( all of which are in my name and home address ). Now don't worry if you buy the car you can just send the deposit and when the title comes in from the NC DMV you can pay the balance. NOTE: If you wish to pick the car up prior to the title getting back to me you would need to pay the balance and I would give you my vehicle registration. a Bill of Sale and mail you the signed and Notarized title when it comes in.   Offers: Yes I'm open to offers but please don't waste mine or your time with silly low ball offers. This is a true numbers matching car and will only take little work to get her back on the road. PLUS she comes with a ton of all new parts!!

Overseas Bidders: Yes the auction is open to overseas bidders. The auction is open to overseas bidders and if you need to ship overseas try  Schumacher Cargo Logistics shipping for fast free quotes (  http://www. schumachercargo. com/  ).     In Closing: The above description is my observations and opinions and they vary from person to person so ask all questions prior to bidding. Again. not an expert just what I know and see so please ask any and all questions you might have.     I'm not an expert and my opinion of the car may vary from yours so please look at the photos closely and if you need more information just email me.  I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. Due to the cars age and having no way to warranty the car I'm selling her "As Is'. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end.
