EQUIPMENT

EXTERIOR
Finished in a bright coat of metallic silver. this pretty little Fiat looks wonderful under our studio lighting. With its attractive Pinafarina styling and menacing twin power bulges. the 124 Spider is destined to turn heads wherever it goes.

The vehicle underwent a restoration a few years ago and while no longer concourse it remains a very useable example indeed. All the panels appear very straight with no obtrusive dents or scratches to be found. and the paintwork retains a nice glassy shine. The original chrome is in good order with only slight pitting visible in a couple of places.

There is no cracking or moisture to any of the lenses with only a few minor chips to the front end. The fabric hood is in decent shape and remains watertight. with only a couple of small imperfections to note; it is certainly smooth and easy to operate.

INTERIOR
Once inside the Fiat you are presented with immaculate black leatherette upholstery. Boasting absolutely no tears or scratches. the rear seats present perfectly as well. The black carpets too are in very nice order.

On closer inspection. the dark brown wooden dash shows zero signs of cracking and all the switchgear still feels solid to operate. The dials are all clear. and while there is light wear to some of the metal trim. this only adds to the car's nice patina.

ENGINE
Raising the bonnet reveals a very clean engine bay. housing the four-cylinder. double overhead cam 1756cc unit. Displaying signs of only age-related wear. the small but mighty engine produces nearly 116hp.

Looking closely there is only minimal surface corrosion to the exhaust manifold with all other components in fine fettle following a full mechanical inspection by our team of technicians. All seals and plastics remain healthy.

WHEELS
The fitted set of 13-inch Abarth Cromodora alloy wheels really set the car off. adding to the sporty aesthetic. Each wheel presents immaculately with no damage or corrosion to be seen.

The wheels are shod in a matching set of Pirelli P3000 tyres. each with plenty of tread remaining. The 124 features disc brakes behind all four alloys. again showing plenty of life.

HISTORY FILE
Built in January 1975. this little Fiat has covered 90. 08 miles from new. Present in the history file is a wealth of documents and invoices relating to multiple works that have been carried out on the car over the years. The vehicle has also benefitted from several new parts. which are accounted for within the extensive paperwork. The cambelt and tensioner were replaced in 2008 at 86. 12 miles.

This 124 comes complete with a clean MOT until September 2015. and is complemented by a good selection of MOT certificates dating back 14 years. further backing-up the car's recent mileage.
