Jaguar : E-Type Used

For auction is a totally complete V12 EMPI HPMX 40 carb set-up. identical to the Weber 40 DCOE.   This set includes the VERY RARE required set of intake manifolds to mount the carbs.   Also included are all linkage. fuel lines. K&N air filters. velocity stacks and chrome covers.   About Weber carbs:  Great until year 2000 when they went bankrupt.   The Marrelli corp took over the company and then licensed the Weber brand to any maker.   Quality control of the Weber brand disappeared.   EMPI makes a perfect clone to the original Weber that is very high quality and all parts are interchangeable.   These carbs worked great and are properly jetted for a V12 using premium fuel.   

These were removed from a high performance engine with 12. 5:1 compression that blew a head gasket (because the original builder used a cheap stock gasket).   The engine did run very well with incredible power.   Carbs are clean. open and close nicely. etc.  

Buyer will also receive a set of V12 valve covers with additional mounting blocks for the carb linkage.   These valve covers are not pictured.   The valve covers are a bit dusty and will need cleaning and polishing.   They match the carb set.

Returns will be accepted. as pictured w/valve covers. nbsp;for 10 days. buyer pays return shipping.   A $300 deposit on PayPal is required within 24 hours of auction close.   Balance to be paid on or before pick-up or shipping.   Balance to be paid in cash. or a Bank of America money order during normal bank business hours.   Shipping to the lower 48 states is $50.    Shipping to Hawaii.
