BARN FIND!!! SETTING SINCE 1975. VERY DESIRABLE SPORTS CAR WITH FACTORY 2138cc 4 CY . 4 SP. DISC BRAKES. AND A REMOVABLE BUBBLE HARDTOP. NO SOFT TOP. THE BLACK SIDE DOOR PCS. ARE LIFT OFF WINDOWS. THE ENGINE HASNT RAN SINCE 75'. HAVE CLEAN INDIANA TITLE. VIN TAG IS UNDER BONNET. I TRIED TO PHOTO BUT IT IS TO FAINT TO SHOW UP BUT YOU CAN READ IT BY EYE. IT WAS WHITE WHEN NEW. CHECK MOSS MOTORS FOR ALL NEW PARTS.

THE STORY GOES. A GUY BOUGHT IT IN 73' THEN MOVED TO CALI. IN 75' AND LEFT IT BEHIND. END OF STORY UNTIL YOU REVIVE HER.

NEEDING FULL RESTORATION. IT HAS A PRETTY SOLID BODY WITH PERFECT FRAME.   THE WORST SPOT IS THE 2 INNER ROCKERS WHERE THEY CONNECT TO FLOOR. THE DRIVER FLOOR HAS A COUPLE 1" HOLES TOWARD MIDDLE BUT THE REST OF FLOOR AND THE TIRE WELL FLOOR IS SOLID. TRUNK TOO. THERE WILL BE SOME PIN HOLES IN THE LEFT FENDER ONCE STRIPPED AND SOME PIN HOLES IN OUT ROCKERS BUT FROM THERE ITS REALLY SOLID. THE NOSE HAS A DENT AND THE TRUNK LID HAS A COUPLE DENTS FROM SETTING STUFF ON IT. LIKELY. THE LEFT QUARTER GOT DENTED FROM PUSHING IT AND BROKE OUT TAIL LIGHTS. IDIOTTS.

WINDSHIELD AND FRAME REALLY GOOD. THE DOORS AND TRUNK WORK WELL. THEY ARE NICE SHAPE.

THE INTERIOR IS ALL THERE BUT NEEDS ALL REDONE. WIRING ALL IN IT.

THIS IS BASICLY A COMPLETE CAR. FRONT BUMPER LAYING INSIDE. IT HAS NO WORKING BRAKES. ITS A VALUABLE CAR WHEN REDONE AND THEY ARE GOING UP. ONLY MADE 2 YEARS IN B-SERIES.

HISTORY:

 "TR3B": Triumph "TR3B" The "Triumph TR3B" is an unofficial name given to the final version of the TR3. which was produced by the Triumph Motor Company (Standard Motor Company) in 1962. It was offered concurrent with the TR4. which started production in 1961. In fact. the "TR3B" was a special short production run lasting until 1963. produced in response to dealer concerns that the buying public might not welcome the TR4.

It had the body of the "TR3A" (Except that the body panels had raised stampings under the hood & trunk hinges and under the door handles. In addition. the wind screen was attached with bolts rather than the Dzus connectors used on "A" models. ). but the 2. 38 cc. engine and all synchromesh transmission of the TR4. The engine is a straight 4. push rod. 3 bearing. with wet liners. It had 9:1 compression and was very rigid. It was fitted with two H6 SU carburettors. It had 105 hp (78 kW) at 4. 50 rpm and 172 N·m (127 ft·lbf) of torque at 3. 50 rpm. It got around 20 miles per US gallon (12 L/100 km; 24 mpg-imp) to 30 miles per US gallon (7. 8 L/100 km; 36 mpg-imp). The top speed was limited to about 110 mph (177 km/h). by the gear ratio. unless it had overdrive. Electrically triggered overdrive (Laycock-de-Normanville Type A) was available as an option and operated on 2nd. 3rd. and 4th gears. Appearance was identical to the "TR3A". and as such very similar to the TR3. except for a wider grill and door handles.

The remainder is due within 7 days of Auction end and should be paid by cash. bank wire. cashier check or money order ( not paypal or credit card ).   We can only take up to 500. 00 on Credit Cards or Paypal unless we have pre discussed a deal.

We expect to here from the buyer either by email or phone within 24 hours of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle. sell it to the next high bidder. or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. IF YOUR FINANCING. make sure your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
If you live in Indiana we need to collect sales tax. Out of state. you are responsible to pay in the state you live in. I will need a shipping bill of laiding if vehicle sold out of Indiana.
