1963 Split Window Corvette Restomod.   200 Break in miles since completion and ready for it's new owner. 1800 hours were spent building this car into what I consider to be the ideal Corvette Restomod. I started with a very solid running and driving non numbers matching split window that was originally a black/black car(see trim tag picture). If you have any questions feel free to message me and I will be more than happy to answer them through email and/or to provide you with my cell number to discuss the Vette.  I am a full disclosure kind of guy and I take great pride in my work.  I build custom cars for a living and I want any potential buyer to know exactly what they are buying.  Included with the car will be a copy of all receipts and a disc with all restoration photos.

-SRIII Motorsports Tubular Chassis Built with C6 Suspension. Just to Clarify. this is a brand new custom built chassis that is made to fit the C2 Corvettes.  It is not a converted or refurbished frame.  You can read all about the chassis on SRIII Motorsports web page. Simply google the name. Mike. the owner. is a top notch guy and if any of you reading this are making plans to build your own restomod. go with the SRIII Chassis.  It is the best and you will not be disappointed.
-Powder-coated Semi-Gloss Black
-C6 front and rear upper and lower control arms. spindles. and brakes.
-4 wheel double adjustable Viking Coil Overs. simply turn the dial on the shock portion of the coil over to make the ride stiffer or smoother.
-Flaming River Road Race Rack and Pinion
-Cross Drilled and Slotted plated Rotors with C6 Corvette Script Black Calipers
-Currie Rear Differential with 3. 73:1 Ratio Gears
-Independent rear axles with CV joints
-Stainless Steel Fuel tank with integral Fuel Pump

***Engine Transmission & Clutch***
-GM LS3 6. 2L 376 Cubic Inch 525hp Crate Engine
-Billet Specialties Valve/Coil Covers black anodized
-Custom Carbon Fiber Intake Cover
-Custom Polished Aluminum Intake
-Vintage Air Front Runner System-Polished Aluminum(pulleys. brackets. balancer. AC compressor. etc. )
-Science Friction Flywheel with ARP bolts
-Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
-Reconditioned Original 461 Bellhousing
-Hydraulic Clutch with Hydraulic throw-out bearing
-Billet Clutch Reservoir by Ring Brothers
-Fully reconditioned Original Pedal Assembly with Billet Specialties Pedal Covers
-Tremec TKO 5 Speed by American Powertrain with Chrome Shifter
-Custom Driveshaft built by DriveTech

-Optional Flaming River Road Race Steering Rack
-Stainless Steel Steering Shaft and U-joints
-Flaming River Tilt Steering Column
-Billet Specialties Steering Wheel with Carbon Fiber Inserts

-BOZE alloy Wheels.   These were custom made by Zak at Boze to fit this car perfectly.
-Nitto Tires

-JBA Stainless Steel Shorty Tubular Headers
-Custom Stainless Exhaust System built by MPfab with flex couplers. slip joints. X pipe. and billet aluminum hangers.
-The rear system is made by Borla for a C6 and was altered by MPfab to fit the rear of the car and to integrate with the rest of the custom exhuast system.   The stainless Borla system sounds absolutely incredible with the LS3!

-C5 Seats recovered with New Perforated Black Leather.  -Retractable Shoulder Harness seat belts installed for safety reasons.  I installed 66-67 reinforcement brackets in the wheel wells.  The retractor portion of the belt mounts to the reinforcement plates.  The seat belts are made by Corvette Central and the buckle portion matches the original design.
-Custom Black Cut Pile Carpet with vinyl lacing by Al Knoch. This carpet has a much cleaner look than the original 80/20 loop carpet which tends to look dirty even when new. -Custom Cut Pile Corvette logo Mats with vinyl lacing by Al Knoch-Custom Cut Pile rear carpet with vinyl lacing made locally by a custom interior shop.
-Custom Leather Dash Pads with White French Stitching-Custom Black Leather Shift boot with white stitching to match dash pads.
-Autometer American Muscle Series Brushed Aluminum Gauges
-Original rebuilt 63 Clock
-New 63 Shifter Console with 5 Speed shifter indicator.  Most people will use a later model shifter console because they are cheaper. but to me. a 63 console belongs in a 63 car.  The expense of the reproduction 63 console was $1300. 00. but well worth it in my opinion.  Again. I prefer a more timeless look and some of the custom center consoles I have seen installed in restomods really don't fit the cars.
-Antique Audio Radio head unit(looks original) with I pod/mp3 input/I phone input.  Simply plug your phone in and play your music through the head unit just like a newer car.
-Billet specialties Steering Wheel with Carbon Fiber insert.  If you prefer a leather insert over the carbon fiber. the inserts can easily be changed out by removing the allen head screws on the back of the wheel.  The wheel has finger grips machined into the billet aluminum which provide for a very comfortable grip.
-Custom Rear Floor  and wheel wells made by SRIII motorsports to clear C6 Suspension and allow for the use of wider tires.
-Fat Mat Sound and Heat Insulation installed throughout. -Lord Fusor professional Seam Sealer was sprayed in place on all areas that original had strip caulk.
-All interior trim and the halo panel were stripped and sprayed with SEM Hot Rod Black paint.
-Flaming River Tilt Steering Column with Billet levers. painted black
-New Headliner. visors. vinyl trim. leather center arm rest. door panels. glove box door. etc.

-New Wiring Harness by American Auto Wire
-Detroit Speed Headlamp Motors(headlights flip up and down very quickly)  This is a fantastic upgrade over stock motors
-Detroit Speed Wiper Motor with ten different speeds
-GM Engine Harness and computer
-Antique Audio Radio head unit with I pod/MP3 input-Hidden antenna mounted behind the glovebox.  This allowed me to delete the hole in the rear of the car for a cleaner look.  The hidden antenna actually works far better than the original antenna and coaxial cable.  I can pick up stations clearly with the car inside of my brick garage.
-New Power Window Motors and correct ReproductionChrome Switch(fastest power windows I have ever seen in a midyear car. faster than the windows in my new 2014 GMC Sierra Truck). A lot of people building restomods will use a later model switch to save a few bucks. but they are too fat and don't look correct.
-Vintage Air AC system. This is the new Generation IV system.  The hoses are run through the passenger foot box vent and out through the original blower motor location. which allows the deletion of the large hole in the firewall.  The original rectangular hole in the firewall was glassed in to give the engine bay a smoother look.
-New Rear Harness made by Lectric Limited.   The American Auto Wire main harness was integrated with the original style rear harness by using correct reproduction plugs.  If there is ever the need to disconnect the rear harness from the main harness. simply remove the kick panel and unplug it. -Autometer Gauge Wiring Harness.  This allows the gauge cluster to be disconnected from the main harness for easy removal of the cluster if ever need be.
-Tail Lamps. Back Up lamps. and Parking lamps by Trim Parts. correct GM licensed reproductions.
-Custom Electric Parking Brake system utilizing a linear actuator attached to the driver's inboard frame rail that is operated by a Billet Specialties switch mounted on the underside of the gauge cluster. Simply press the switch and the linear actuator pulls the parking brake cables forward.   This is the best Parking Brake system i have ever built or installed in a car. I plan to use a linear actuator and billet switch on all restomods I build from this point forward.
-Upgraded 6x9 Speaker mounted in stock location. Speaker built by Ken Harrison.
-Electric radiator cooling fan by dewitts(pull type). controlled by engine computer and will not turn on until the car reaches optimal running temperature.  -Optional Electric Air Conditioning Fan by Vintage Air(push type). thermostatically controlled.   Keeps the car very cool and the AC blowing ice cold even in 100 degree heat with high humidity.
-PowerBraid Wrap was installed in place of the corrugated plastic wrap that came on the engine harness(not shown in first engine picture since it was taken before I removed the corrugated plastic wrap).
-Autometer American Muscle Series Gauges.  These have a brushed aluminum backing with red needles.  They look amazing when the parking lights are on.
-Rebuilt Original 63 clock.  I chose the American Muscle Series gauges because the closely match the original 63 clock.  Some people prefer to install a large custom head unit with a flip out screen and an integrated clock.  However. technology fades fast and I prefer to go with a classic look that will remain timeless.

-Custom Dewitts LS Aluminum Radiator with cooling fan that is controlled by the engine computer.   The fan will not turn on until the car reaches operating temperature
-Billet Specialties Thermostat Housing
-Vintage Air AC fan and relays. thermostatically controlled

-ABS Electronic Braking System with Billet Master Cylinder.   The booster is electric.   This is the best braking system I have installed in a car.   The brakes operate just like a modern car.
-Optional Cross Drilled and Zinc Plated Rotors
-C6 Corvette Script Calipers painted black
-Optional Stainless Brake Lines by SRIII Motorsports

-Original 63 Body that had a new tail lamp panel and quarter panels installed by previous owner when he restored the car in the nineties.  I started with a very solid running and driving split window with a non original motor.  This is an original black exterior black interior split window. see trim tag picture. not that it matters anymore. but very few split windows were made in black.  Over 300 hours were spent making sure the doors. hood. headlamp buckets. and panels fit perfectly and that the body was as smooth as glass. I used 1. 5 gallons of slick sand over SPI epoxy primer. It took me well over a month of priming and sanding to make sure there were no waves in the body.  The paint was sprayed by Performance Car Craft in Alabaster. AL.  You can go to their webpage to see photos of the car in the final bodywork and paint stages.
-SPI Black two stage paint with SPI Universal Clear.   SPI Epoxy primer and Slick Sand were used for the initial stages of body work.

-Chrome by Paul's chrome. door handles. rear bumpers. etc.
-Original Rear and Front Stainless
-All New Smoke Tinted Glass by Antique Auto City Glass
