A 1970 Swinger that will Wow You—and Everyone Else!

The 1970 Dodge Swingers are highly sought after classics. particularly if they were painted in one of Dodge's “special” colors: ·       “Sublime”  [lime green] respray in factory color

  An Exceptional Example!

 ·       Paint and Chrome

 This Swinger underwent a high-quality respray in the factory Sublime color that looks as new.    Its lime finish has a deep shine and strong color.  The chrome and stainless is in very good condition and nicely compliments the paint in freshness.  There is a slight dimple (paint not damaged) on the hood.

The black vinyl top is in very nice condition.  

And noteworthy. the body and underside of the car appear to be free of rust and corrosion with only normal surface rust on the underside.

·       Interior

  The seat upholstery is black vinyl that looks as new.   The headliner. package tray. arm rests. dash pad. etc. look as-new.   The carpeting is black and looks new.   The door panels are in very good condition.

 ·       Engine

  The 340 V-8 is a replacement for the car's original 318 and provides the get-up and go that the smaller V-8 lacked.   This is a fun car to drive.

·       Transmission/Rear end

The transmission is an automatic that shifts properly.   The rear end has limited slip and appears to be a higher gear ratio than the original set-up.

·       Comfort and Safety Systems

  The most important comfort feature is the recently upgraded air conditioning system that has a new compressor ready for installation by the new owner.

The original front manual drum brakes were replaced with power disc brakes. improving the stopping ability of this Swinger.   The four rims are mounted with nearly new BF Goodrich T/A tires.   The spare has the old (original?) bias-ply tire.

It is also a car where everything works—horn. lights. wipers. turn signals.   About the only component needing attention is to install the new air conditioning compressor which is furnished with the car.

There are seat belts. front and rear. for added safety for six passengers.

 Payment for this vehicle is to be by Wire Transfer only except for the required deposit of $500 which may be by credit card.   Pickup and shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. This deposit must be received within 3 days following the end of the auction and full payment is due within 7 days of the end of the auction.

If as the winning bidder you PERSONALLY come to our facility before the post-auction 7-day payment/pickup time expires. inspect the car and determine for ANY reason that you do not want to buy this car. we will cancel the sale and return your deposit less $100 to cover our time and expense for relisting and you will have no further obligation.   This is our assurance to you that the vehicle is all that you expected when you entered your winning bid.
