THIS IS ONE BEAUTIFUL CAR.   IT HAS BEEN LOVINGLY CARED FOR OVER THE YEARS AND HAS BEEN COSMETICALLY AND MECHANICALLY VERY WELL MAINTAINED.

 

THIS V12 JAGUAR IS IN EXCELLENT COSMETIC CONDITION OUTSIDE AND IT IS IN GOOD COSMETIC CONDITION INSIDE.   THE PAINT IS BEAUTIFUL WITH HARDLY A BLEMISH ANYWHERE.   IT IS A RE-PAINT THAT WAS COMPLETED SEVERAL YEARS AGO (NOT THE ORIGINAL COLOR. BUT VERY CLOSE) AND IT STILL LOOKS GREAT TODAY.   THE CHROME TRIM IS IN VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT CONDITION ALL AROUND THE CAR. THE WINDOW GLASS LOOKS VERY GOOD.   THE SOFT TOP IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION (THE PLASTIC REAR WINDOW IS CLEAR AND FREE OF ANY SCRATCHES).   THE ORIGINAL CHROME WHEELS LOOK GREAT AND THE TIRES ARE LIKE NEW.   THE INTERIOR IS MOSTLY ORIGINAL (EXCEPT FOR THE SEAT COVERS AND CENTER ARMREST PAD) AND IT LOOKS GOOD. THE CARPET IS WORN IN A FEW AREAS AND IS LOOSE IN THE DRIVER'S FOOTWELL.   OVERALL. THE CARPET IS OK.   THE DRIVER'S SEAT COVER IS STAINED AND THE SPRINGS ARE SOFT IN THE BOTTOM CUSHION.   THERE IS A TEAR IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT COVER ON THE SIDE OF THE BACKREST (SEE PIC BELOW).   OTHERWISE. THE DASH. CENTER CONSOLE AND DOOR PANELS ALL LOOK GOOD.   OVERALL. THIS JAGUAR HAS A VERY NICE INTERIOR!

 

THE WEATHERSTRIP SEALS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION ALL AROUND THIS CAR!

THIS JAGUAR HAS A VERIFIED NUMBERS MATCHING ORIGINAL ENGINE AND ACCORDING TO THE CURRENT OWNER. THE TRANSMISSION SHOULD BE ORIGINAL AS WELL.   THE ENGINE STARTS EASILY AND RUNS GOOD.   THE 4-SPD MANUAL TRANSMISSION SHIFTS WELL THROUGH THE GEARS AND THE CLUTCH ENGAGEMENT IS VERY GOOD.

 

THIS IS A VERY SOLID AUTOMOBILE WITH NO BODY RUST AT ALL!  THE UNDERCARRIAGE HAS SOME MINOR SURFACE RUST ON A FEW OF THE METAL COMPONENTS (SEE PICS BELOW).   THE FLOORBOARDS. ROCKER PANELS AND TRUNK FLOOR ARE SOLID WITH NO RUST!

 

THIS CLASSIC HAS BEEN MECHANICALLY METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED OVER THE YEARS.   EVENSO. IT IS IN NEED OF A FEW REPAIRS AT THIS TIME.   THE NEEDED REPAIRS ARE LISTED HERE: THE ENGINE RUNS GOOD AND THE CAR DRIVES WELL. BUT THERE IS SOME ENGINE HESITATION UNDER HARD ACCELERATION.   THE REAR BRAKE CALIPER'S PISTONS HAVE A TENDENCY TO STICK. ESPECIALLY AFTER DRIVING FOR A WHILE. SO THE REAR CALIPERS NEED TO BE REPLACED OR REBUILT.   THE LEFT-REAR "RADIUS ARM ASSEMBLY" NEEDS NEW BUSHINGS BECAUSE THE CAR SHIFTS FROM SIDE-TO-SIDE UNDER ACCELERATION.   OTHER THAN THOSE FEW ITEMS. THIS CAR NEEDS NOTHING ELSE TO DRIVE AND ENJOY IT TODAY!
