1953 Morris Oxford . Not FORD , AUSTIN

As  photos  show  this  is  one  exceptionally  original  low  mileage  60  year  old  Morris  Oxford   in  excellent  condition  in  ALL  departments.
This  Morris  drives  as  one  would  have  expected  any  new  car  to  drive  back  in  the  50's.  Yes.  it's  that  good.
I  bought  this car  from  it's  elderly  owner  who  told  me  he  was  told  at  the time  of his  purchase  that  the  recorded  low  mileage  was  believed  to  be  correct. I  have  all  the  MOT  cert's. covering  the  6  years  it  has  been  here in Northern Ireland  and  am  currently  active  in  trying  to get  the  Morris's  MOT  history  from  VOSA  for  during  it's  time  in  GB Mainland.
Has  had  a  respray  sometime  in  the  past ( same colour and shade)  and still  looks  very  good  from  any  angle. There  are  a  couple of  bubbles  under  the  paint  on  the  driver side  front  wing adjacent to  the  drivers  door. No paint  is  broken here. or anywhere else.
All  panels  are  original and  with  no  evidence  of  filler ( apart  from front  wing  as  mentioned.
All  chrome work is  in  very  good  condition

For  it's  MOT  a  few  weeks  ago  a  full  service was  given plus  an all  system  check  over. New  H/Duty  battery. new exhaust  system. new  ignition system. new  fuel   pump. 4 new  quality  tyres plus some  other  small items.
I  took this  Oxford  to  a Vintage Show  yesterday.  25th May  and  it  drove  much  better  than  one  would  have  expected  for  a  car   now  60  years  old. I  have had  long  term  ownership  of  a  pre-war  Daimler  and  a  pair  of  self  restored  Riley RME's   and  this  Morris  is  up  there  with  the  drive  and  comfort. It received  many complimentary  comments  on  it's condition  inside  and  out from  fellow  classic  car  owners  and  the  general  public.
The  new  owner  will certainly  not  be  disappointed.  
This  car  drives  perfect in  every  way and  there  is  not  a  hint  of  any  issues  requiring  attention.
Interior  has  been  professionally reupholstered in  a  very  nice  50's  period  green  velvet and is  indeed  a  very  nice.  and  comfortable place  to  be.

Viewing  and  drive  in  this  car  is highly  recommended. I  have  the  facility  for  one  to be  able  to view  the  full  underside.
The  original  registration  number  which  is  transferable   has  a recent  written  valuation  of  £2500  clear  to  the  vendor  is  included  in  this  sale/ auction.
