EXTERIOR
Being the special edition Raider. this Renault 5 comes in the desirable Sport Blue metallic paintwork that gleams in our studio following a lengthy detailing session. The paintwork is in excellent condition and is free from any scuffs or major scratches. with all panels very straight aside from one unobtrusive car park dent on the NSR wheel arch.

All of the plastic trim on the car has retained its colour and is in great order. with the original body kit as fresh as the day it left the factory. Furthermore every lens is crystal clear and crack-free. with the ‘RAIDER' decal still present at the top of the rear window.

INTERIOR
The Renault has bucketed grey cloth seats in the front for extra support; both front and rear are in fantastic condition with no wear to the side bolsters. The foam padding is in good order. still plump and very supportive. with just a tiny nick to the fabric in the middle of the rear bench.

The black carpet is spotless throughout with the dashboard and centre console completely unmarked. The grey corduroy door cards present very well plus the steering wheel and gear knob both retain a good texture. All the switch gear still works and feels like new with precise and firm clicks when moving stalks or buttons.

The car has been fitted with a more recent Kenwood CD player that is coupled with an iPod cable. discreetly fitted from within the glove compartment. Two aftermarket tweeters have also been fitted atop the dashboard. but could easily be removed should the new owner wish to return the interior back to its original state.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This GT Turbo has done less than 52k miles and as such the engine bay is in remarkably good order. All rubbers and plastics appear very tidy indeed. with the engine itself in fine fettle having just had the head gasket replaced by our team of technicians. following its full mechanical inspection.

The gear shift mechanism is incredibly tight and precise showing making this iconic hatch a very enjoyable car to drive.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The car sits on its factory set of 13" colour-coded Raider alloy wheels which are all completely unmarked. There are zero signs of curb damage or age-related wear to the polished outer rims.

The wheels are shod in a matching set of Uniroyal tyres. each with plenty of tread. The brakes all work well pulling the car up smoothly in a straight line.

HISTORY FILE
This example has covered just 51. 35 miles in its life and is complemented by a wealth of paperwork. ranging from original Renault service invoices to more recent bills and receipts for parts. as well as MOT certificates.

The original service book is stamped up to 46. 84 miles and is complete with the plastic book pack that includes all the correct handbooks. Full documentation for the alarm and immobiliser is also present.
