EXTERIOR
Covered in a glossy coat of Glacier Blue the angular body work of this Lotus remains in great condition for the age of the car. The iconic wedge shape transports you back to a more retro time and is unlike any other design. The sharp lines and large air scoops on the side of the car would draw attention in any situation. The body remains solid with no corrosion. the paintwork good aside from a colour mismatch on one of the headlights.

The iconic 80′s pop up lights are in full working order and the trim around the car remains clean and tidy with only a few areas needing some attention.

INTERIOR
The exterior colour scheme continues inside with a dark blue interior which extends over the angular almost spaceship like dashboard and instrument panel encompassing the driver in an all out driving experience.

Both driver and passenger door pockets offer essentials. with both nestling 12v cigarette lighters and ash trays! The drivers side also offering the electric mirror control. In keeping with the car's age and mileage the interior remains clean. tidy and presentable.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The mid mounted 4 cylinder engine fires into life quickly with no smoke on startup and it settles to an idle hum. While the engine has been well maintained the superficial exterior and general engine bay could do with some light cosmetic work. The car's gearbox passes nicely through the gears with no clunks or shunts.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The classic designed staggered alloy wheels remain in good condition with minimal curb marks. there are some signs of lacquer peeling but nothing that detracts from the overall condition. The tyers are in the form of premium brand pirelli on the rear and michelins on the front. The brakes remain firm and effective pulling the car to a stop in a straight line.

HISTORY FILE
First registered by Malmesbury Specialist cars on the 28/7/83 this Esprit has been well serviced throughout its life the car comes with a huge history file full or all its service invoices and MOTs. The original red document pack is present containing the owners handbook. alarm manual and Lotus dealer record from back in the 80s.
