This is a 1949 Lincoln 9EL Coupe. Lincoln produced only 10. 02 of these two door coupes. Is it rare? I will let you decide.

My car is currently registered and insured and I can drive it. I have only driven it locally around town because it is 65 years old and un-restored.  There are no oil leaks from the engine. transmission or rear end.
In the video the engine is running the entire time.  You can hear and see it run.
It is un-chopped and on original suspension.
It has the original 337 cubic inch flathead motor which runs really well. The transmission is the original 4 speed hydramatic transmission.   The wiring harness has been replaced with a new EZ Wire 17 circuit harness.  The electrical system was changed from 6 volt to 12 volts. still uses a generator.
All the gauges. fuel. oil pressure. gas. temp and the speedometer work. I used a voltage step down to change 12 volts to 6 volts for the gauges.  The windshield wipers are there but they are not hooked up.
All lights. interior and exterior. were replaced with new 12 volt lamps including the amber fog lights.  The video shows all the lights working including the turn and high beam indicators in the dash.
This car lives in my garage when I am not driving it.  It is solid and almost no rust.  The trunk floor has some rust but I purchased a new reproduction trunk floor I will include in the auction.
The paint is not original. It is dark blue with metal flake.  I think the original color was black.
The glass in the car is fine except for cracks in the door glasses and one of the rear quarter glasses. The three piece back glass is in good shape.
The tires are Coker wide whites with very little wear.  The spare tire is also a wide white.
The headliner and carpet were replaced before I got the car. They are okay.  The front and rear seats are in really good condition structure wise.  The upholstery is fine for a rat rod.  The seats are very comfortable to sit and ride in.
The horns work well enough to scare the crap out of anyone or anything within a 5 block radius.  I have honked squirrels out of their trees with them.
If you watch the video you can see and hear the engine running as well as the car driving down the road.  The video shows all the lights functioning. fog lights. park lights. tail lights. left and right turn signals. brake lights. etc.  WHEN YOU WATCH THE VIDEO YOU WILL SEE THE RADIO SPEAKER GRILL AND WINDSHIELD GARNISH MOLDINGS ARE MISSING. I took the dash out to install the wiring harness and just had not replaced those items when the video was made. They are now back on the car.
I HAVE A SET OF FENDER SKIRTS FOR THIS CAR BUT THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION.  They are for sale but are not a part of this auction.
You can take this car home and drive it or you can restore it.  Either way this is pretty near one of a kind.
If you want more pictures or video or to come inspect the car. contact me and I will respond quickly.
If you are THAT GUY who needs to ask the wife. do that BEFORE you submit your bid.
Good luck bidding.
