For sale is my fast and beautiful 1979 Chevrolet Camaro being sold with a low reserve. This is a rust free southern car that has spent the majority of its life in Texas and Oklahoma before being brought to Virginia in 2011 and then up to Massachusetts when I purchased it. Over $20. 00 has been invested in this car (see pictured huge stack of paperwork and receipts). and the result is a very unique and special car that is the opposite of the typical run of the mill ratty 2nd gen Camaro.

The engine is a 355ci small block Chevy V8. It was rebuilt in 2011 (receipts included) at which time it was  balanced and blueprinted (with weight specs included). The engine features a 10. 75 to 1 compression ratio. a Crane roller cam (. 525 lift 218 duration "hot cam" full specifications included). comp cams roller rockers. GM 194/150 Cast Iron Heads. Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake. Holley 650 vacuum secondary. This car features a functional ram air hood as well. Behind the engine is a TH350 automatic transmission with a stage three shift kit with racing sprag and trans go clutches. I was told the transmission has an 8" 3500 stall converter and the way it drives would seem to confirm that fact. The car features a Powertrac posi 3:08 rear end gear which allows the car to cruise on the highway as fast as you want to go without over revving. The Magnaflow headers and exhaust sound absolutely amazing and produce an appropriate sound for a muscle car like this one.

It's worth noting that this Camaro although fast and modified is an extremely easy to drive car and was clearly set up to be everyday streetable. The car has power 4 wheel disc brakes. power steering. power door locks. a tilt steering wheel and power windows. This Camaro also has Air Conditioning which blows nice and cold. The car has been lowered with Hotchkis front and rear lowering springs. has Koni shocks. and has an upgraded sway bar. I was told when the car was restored the front subframe was completely removed and rebuilt along with the rear suspension.

The paint job on the car is a very nice driver quality paint job with a few very minor imperfections as pictured. Again there is no rust or rot on this car and the body is very straight as you would expect from a no rust southern car. The entire interior was redone recently and as you can see from the pictures is in excellent shape. The dash was painted black and features 9 custom Autometer gauges all of which work as they should. The front two seats have custom five point harnesses.  I'm sure I'm forgetting countless  additional things about this awesome Camaro so please feel free to ask questions.

The car is an absolute blast to drive on the highway and has a seemingly endless supply of power.  I have a 120 mile round trip commute and I've taken the car on it several times since I purchase the car without any issue.  Having said that it is a 35 year old modified car and is not without its minor quirks. rattles and peculiarities. Like many second generation Camaros. the power windows are slow (the passenger side needs a little assistance if its all the way down). The car normally starts right away with a quick turn of the key but every once in a while you turn the key and the starter doesn't engage right away. if you hold the key and wait 15-20 seconds the starter engages and the car starts without issue. I never fixed it because it didn't bother me much but I'm sure its something simple if you wanted to remedy the problem. Neither of these issues really effect the operation of the car but I wanted to mention them in the interest of transparency.

All in all this is an extremely unique Camaro that has had a ton of work done and is super fun to drive. It isn't show car perfect but it is very very nice. Although you see a decent amount of 2nd generation Camaros if you're still reading my description you likely know that you don't see many like this one. Please take a look at all of the pictures through the link below. I've included 140 high quality pictures so potential buyers have a chance to see everything on the car and know what they are getting. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about my Camaro. just let me know.

TERMS OF SALE--I'm offering this car with a very low reserve and I am motivated to . I'm not playing games and I am seriously trying to sell the car. Please extend me the same courtesy when it comes to bidding on/buying the car. I've sold several cars on Ebay and the buyers have always been happy. Inspection of the 1979 Camaro by you and/or your mechanic is welcomed and encouraged during the auction in zipcode 02631. Any questions please ask. I want the next owner of this car to enjoy it as much as I have. Once the auction is complete the high bidder owns it. Because it is an older modified car. the Camaro will be sold AS-IS/WHERE-IS with no warranty expressed or implied. Shipping arrangements are up to you but I will meet your shipper and assist them in loading car. Your bid on this auction will serve as acknowledgement of and agreement to these terms.

PLEASE NOTE: I do currently have the remainder of a loan against this car. Upon receiving payment for the car I will pay off lien. Once your payment clears I will send you a notarized bill of sale and/or you are free to take possession of the car. I've contacted my bank and they've assured me they will have the title in my hand in 3-5 business days from when I pay off the loan at which point I will sign it and overnight it to you. Very simple. just wanted to make all potential bidders aware. Any questions about this process just ask. Thanks.
