1981 Jeep CJ7 Renegade Factory V8 79k 4spd Original Beautiful Lift RARE

This is one of the RAREST Jeep CJ's ever produced.  According to Michael at Austin Jeeps in Texas and others. there were less then 250 Special Ordered V8 CJ7 models from Factory in 1981.  The final year of the V8 offered by Jeep AMC was in 1980.   In 1981 buyers had the option to special order a 304ci V8 but the wait time was 12 weeks turning off most people from making the special order.  How can you identify if a Jeep has this special order 304 v8 from the factory?  Look at the VIN# in the 4th digit it must have an H to be a factory installed special order V8.  If the vin# does not have the letter H in the 4th spot. it was not a special ordered V8 from the factory in 1981.  People often upgrade to the highly desirable 304 v8 in their CJ.  The swap is rather common making the changeover relatively easy however these coming from the factory are so far and few between.
This particular Renegade has original paint. no rust issues and very low original miles.  It is a Turn Key Jeep. jump in and drive!  It has many upgrades but has been adult driven and in the last 12 years driven by a Jeep enthusiast in his 50s.   He has owned it the last 13 years.  He told he spent 3 years trying to find this rig.  However. he has since lost interest in the Jeep community and moved on.  This is your chance to own a piece of history and own a beautiful original Jeep CJ7 Renegade. 65+ Pictures Below!!
Engine:304 Cubic Inch 5. 0L 8cylinder FACTORY INSTALLED motor that starts right up. sounds amazing. runs flawless and very powerful.  It doesn't leak any fluids on the pavement after being driven.  The motor sounds amazing. it idles perfect and has plenty of power to keep up on the highway. in the mountains or in the city.  This motor is awesome and does not smoke.  There is a flat tow wiring set up for lights. you will notice wires bundled up by the horn in the engine bay.  When flat towing the Jeep you can flip the switch on the dash to TOW and it automatic turns the blinkers/running lights with the tow vehicle.  Super handy!!  I will include the flat bar tow set up and anchor points if you use the buy it now.  
Transmission:Highly desirable T176 4 speed Manual transmission that shifts perfect without any grinding. popping or whining.  The clutch is very stiff and works well in all gears.
Suspension:It has a 4" Suspension lift along with a 1" body lift.  The Jeep drives smooth and tight but one must get used to the trutrac detroit locker in the rear.  There is no shimmy or vibrations at all.  The tires are balanced so that helps a lot!
Drivetrain:4x4 - Dana 300 Transfer case.  It has an upgraded rear Detroit differential locker in the rear and a limited slip in the front along with upgraded 4. 56 gears.  
Body:Body overall is in great condition and original.  There is no significant rust on this Jeep.  It does have some discoloration and light surface rust on the underbody/undercarriage. interior floors and a few small specs on the windshield frame but it is very minimal.  The windshield frame has a bunch of snaps on the top. I was told this was from the original soft top but I can't confirm for sure.  There are many sand chips on the front end but I there is not any noticeable dents.  It has scratches and blemishes to be expected for a 32year old Jeep but overall excellent condition and original.  The front bumper has a Hi Lift jack mount and Jack included.  The side steps rocker guards are mounted to the body mount bolts.
Paint:The original paint is very shiny. reflective and shows lots of luster.  It is 32 year old paint and has sand chips. scratches and blemishes.  It is not perfect but looks awesome for its age.  The decals are worn and cracked but still look great.  The hood has some fading. the drivers door has paint checkering. probably was repainted at one point.  Again this is original paint and is not perfect and has blemishes. please view all photos.
Hardtop:Factory hardtop was repainted black inside and out and tint was added to all windows.  No major cracks. cuts or damages.
Interior Gauges/switches:The Heater blows warm and all blinkers. horn. switches. gauges work without problems.  The stereo turns on but the speakers are not hooked up or its not getting the signal from the antenna.  The door windows easily roll up and down.  The original dash pad is included just not installed due to the aftermarket front cage kit.  The front portion of the cage needs paint. it flaked off in several parts.  The Tilt Steering wheel makes it easy to get in and out of the Jeep.
Interior seats/carpet:Seats are in very good condition. the drivers seat has some seam separations and blemishes.  The rear seat has some blemishes on the front of it however the passenger seat is very clean.  View photos of all 3.  The carpet is very clean. there is a small missing section by the shifter.  It is definitely used but still looks very nice.
Tires/Wheels:The tires are an a Super Swamper Truxus 34x12. 50x15 Mud Terrain Radial with approx 70-75% tread life.  The spare tire is the same tire mounted on the original Chrome Jeep wheel.  The wheels are in great condition and factory original 15x8.

USE THE BUY IT NOWI will include a set of new black fender flares. a Bestop black bikini top and a flat bar tow bar set up.  I have 2 anchors that attach to the bumper directly and the serve as mounting points for the tow bar (The Jeep is prewired like a trailer).
Overall:This Jeep is beautiful inside and out.  It drives fantastic and the suspension compliments the vehicle perfectly as it is tight and super smooth.  This is a RARE opportunity to purchase an extremely rare and hard to find Jeep CJ7.  It gets a lot of attention because it is such a beautiful color scheme.  Most compliments are the baby blue seats and stripes.
