1969 Pontiac Lemans Convertible project car. Running and driving car. I found this in a garage. been stored inside since 1988. I have a clean title in my hand. Needs work. restore or run as is. up to you. Car has a 400. 2 barrel. non original XY code= 1973 Auto. auto TH400. HEI converted. Drum power brakes. Bucket seat console. air conditioning. Have a rally clock for it. power windows. Windows still work but need to be lubed. Green on Green originally. white top?? Top rams are disconnected but still are free. lines are shot. pump?? No canvas top on assembly. top header has rust. Lock/latches are fine. I have 4 Rally 14" rally rims that go with car. Lower front fenders have been replaced. left 1/4 has been replaced. rt 1/4 was cut off and replacement panel got bent and they lost interest on the project so it still needs to be replaced.  Front floor pans have pepper rust and they lapped small patched over the original floor. i'd replace front 1/2 pans. Rears are nice. has pinhole under the rear floor harness. Trunk floor is nice. few small pin holes. Doors are nice. not fat seams on the lowers. no rust.  Bumpers need a rechrome or Clone to a GTO??? Judge rubber nose??? This car is solid where it needs to be. the outer body needs the attention. THIS CAR NEED A RESTORATION TO BE PERFECT. But a super project. Like i said it's been in storage since 1988. So like brakes need to be bled again. lots of small stuff. But i really think the guy who wants this WILL give it a full restoration back to it's glory. The owner was a dad who had ALOT of muscle cars and let the son try and restore this car. In 1988 this wasn't a big deal. now in 2014. find another one to do!!  GOOD LUCK. I work was done by a younger man so it's not "super". I've been restoring cars for 20 years. this is a cake walk for a good builder.  Ask questions so you feel 100% sure about the auction. Now. Clone or not to clone is the question???? Hmmmm
