Started life as a 1. 0 campus. Previously bought for the excellent condition bodywork compared to most gtt's back then and was turned it into the car it is now by Nocturnal Developments. It has never had. nor needs welding. The car was been kept in dry storage for 2 years prior to my purchase and has been off the road and garaged all winter.  

One wheel has some kerbing to the edge of the rim. there are some minor marks to the body work and usual stone chips. Remember the car is 22yrs old and is in fantastic condition given it's age. If you want a perfect car go to your local show room and buy a new one!!

The car has some remains of the campus. the dash. although the entire loom has been replaced with a GTT one. the door and qtr cards which have been painted with black plastic textured paint and the manual windows have been kept but everything else has been converted over to GTT parts. The steering wheel has been replaced with an aftermarket Momo.

It has GTT front and rear suspension fitted. the rear brake bias removed to improve braking to the rear. with gt tuning big disc conversion and green stuff pads on the front. The engine bay has the scuttle panel removed and it has a c1j fitted.

It has a simplified engine bay with a minimal breather system. minimal coolant hoses with the radiator relocated to the boot and replaced with a much larger Volvo t5 radiator and fan. There is a scoop fitted to the underside of the body and the tailgate has been vented to aid cooling. The washer bottle. header tank and battery have also been relocated in the rear of the car. The intercooler has been replaced with a large front mount with minimal boost run to keep charge temps low. There is front mounted oil cooler with braided lines and a mocal thermostatic sandwich plate with a recent oil and filter change.

To keep with the colour scheme the front sub frame and sparco strut brace have been colour matched with the body kit. It has a fire extinguisher fitted in the rear. The front bumper has the fog lights removed with the slats extended for the euro look. The rear bumper slats have been removed to aid cooling. All body mods done by Nocturnal Developments.

New fuel reg. new fuel lines and fuel filter were all replaced prior to my purchase. New fuel pump relay and fuel pump wiring for higher ampage versions to ensure the fuel pump has a good power supply.

Removal of the bias valve. as the interior of the car is removed the original bias valve gave very little braking to the rear even when locked on full. It has been removed to improve braking to the rear to match the improved braking that the front has with the big disc conversion. This was all sorted by nocturnal Developments prior to my purchase.   

Engine

C1j with Garrett T25 Turbo. 135main. 0. 9 air corrector. standard 25mm venturi. 2mm fuel jets. boost controller. induction kit. Piper 285 cams. rev limiter @ 6000rpm. rear mounted T5 rad. volvo clutch & gear box. lightened and blanced fly wheel. adjustable vernier pulley with piper up rated springs. 2. 5" k-Tec side exit exhaust. gt tuning adjustable timing sensor. armtech rev limiter. higher torque starter motor and 70amp alternator. Sparco strut brace. front mount intercooler. new bosch efi pump. 190bhp @ 18psi (pre carb rebuild)

 K-Tec Racing rolling session and carb rebuild done only a few weeks ago ready for this sale made an amazing 160 @ 14psi. I've recently spent the best part of £1000 on rolling road testing and parts. (receipts to prove) This car is savage when the turbo kicks in. Remember this has been set up for fast road/track use. she's loud and fueling is set up to make the most of the agressive cams by K-Tec Racing. There is no interior. heater works just fine useful in this weather. When i bought her i drove her back to Bournemouth from Liverpool without any fuss at all.

She's been kept off the road for most of the winter. except for the odd sunday cruise with the car club. Recent oil change fully synthetic. new dizzy and spark plugs to keep her running nice. I've had my fun and now it's time to move on to something else. Recent block compression test showed a perfect 150 on all 4 cylinders just to be sure the block is sound. Again K-Tec racing did the check for me. This has been a fantastic fun car to drive will be sorry to see her go. i get quite attached to my cars. I'm now looking for a 50's Hot Rod for my next project more in keeping with my Rod club.

Thur 11th

Started right on the button cold. sounded real nice on tick over. it's got a real deep throaty sound. Done the shopping run this morning and you can't help but blip it in the underground car park and hear that motor echo off the walls and scare a ton of grannies. Running real nice. had a good blip up the duel carriageway and boy does it shift. you hit the rev limiter in seconds so you have to rattle up the gears quick and that's only on 14psi. You won't need to run it more than that. it's quite a handful as it is.  :-)     

 

I will totally ignore any emails or offers once the listing has ended. if you bid you buy it simple as!!! Check you can get insurance FIRST not after you make an offer. Please no crazy offers from people with no money. if you want a car this sorted your going to have to make a decent offer. NO SWOPS i'm not interested. No fake money either i spent 10yrs in print and can feel a fake in seconds. Payment on collection must collect within a week of purchase buyer is responsible for collecting the vechicle.
