I have here a 1968 Plymouth satellite that my grandfather left to me 2 years ago when he passed away. Since then my husband and I have enjoyed the car taking it to local shows and even drove it in few parades just as my grand dad used to do when he owned the car. But as they say sometimes life gets in the way and its time to move on. our daughter just completed her driving exam and bought her own car and we need the space . its time to find this Satellite a new home so someone else can enjoy. Love and cherish her as much as we have. Its in mostly original condition with only a few upgrades that my husband added to the car when we took possesion of it a few years ago. my husband added the weld wheels (also has its originals as seen in pics) a four barrel intake and eldelbrock carb along with headers and Flowmasters. it runs and drives nice and starts right up first time every time. my grandfather Ran a body shop for many years . he was always partial to the older dodges and plymouths . he owed a lot of them through out the years but this is one that he always kept and would never let go of. he always kept it in the garage just as I have since I have owned it. its a nice car not highly optioned sorta (plain jane)it came from the factory with no radio or antenna (a cassette player was added in the 80s) but no antenna was ever added so only the cassette player works. radio wont get reception.  doesnt even have air conditioning just little knobs that open two vents under the dash but all of these things seem to add to the character of the car. its amazing to look at yet amazingly simple. its a time capsule almost. and gets so much attention wherever it goes. The car runs and shifts great has power steering and manual brakes that work very well with only 94. 00 original miles on the original 318 engine. all of the glass in the car is good the interior panels are good . the dash doesnt even have any cracks or rips. the headliner is perfect . ll of the gauges work. the car could use new seat covers as there is some black duct tape on these i suppose its covering places where the stitching has come loose. I think the seat covers are available new but im not sure. the car doesnt have any rust or dents and had only one repaint by my grandfather back in the early 1980s and he took great pride in his work. hich is without a doubt why the car still looks  great 30+ years later.  the car has a 318 with a 4 bbl carb and as i said before it just starts up everytime . if you have any questions my name is Lisa and you can call me and I will do my best to answer any questions or send you any pictures that you may want. nbsp; as i want the winner of this auction to enjoy this car . 812 528 0930. thanks and good luck bidding .
