We are selling a 1966 Plymouth Fury III Convertible.   What is cool about this car is it was originally an Avis Rent-a-car!  Imagine being able to rent a beautiful convertible like this today.   The Fury is a running and driving car and is a real nice 20 footer.   It sports a 70's LA 318 in it. 727 transmission. 11 inch drum brakes. AM radio. power steering. power top. and tough 8 3/4 rear end.

When we got the car it had been sitting for about 15 years but we got it to fire right up from it's slumber.   The brakes seem to work fine and most of the accessories work.   The top even still goes up and down!  It will need a new top however.   The car has a little rust in both 1/4's and the rocker but this is Northwest rust. NOT midwest rust.   The frame rails are super solid.   The black dash pad and the door panels are almost perfect.

Have a bunch of extra parts that go with the car as well including a nice windshield. tons of trim. 1/4 panel patches. etc.   See the pictures.

We have been driving it around our neighborhood but it will need to be trailered to it's new home.   The gas tank is toast so we are running it off a gas can right now. it will run well enough to drive off and on a trailer.   The drivetrain feels pretty strong and the bones of the car are solid.   The interior is pretty nice as well with cloth seats.

The car needs a little love but it is super hard to find project convertibles this nice anymore.   Most have rusty frame rails or trashed interiors. this has neither.   These things have such a nice ride with the super long wheelbase and torsion bar suspension.

Please e-mail us to set up an appointment to see the car. The car is located in Olympia. Washington. which is about an hour south of Seattle. Washington and an hour and a half north of Portland. Oregon.

Every effort has been made to make an accurate description of this car. but some things were probably missed. This is a nice driver but it is not perfect and this is being sold with no warranties expressed or implied.

We accept Money Orders. Cashier's Check. or Wire Transfer. A $500. 00 nonrefundable deposit must be made within 48 hours of the auction ending. Payment must be made within fourteen days of the auction finishing. The car must be either shipped or picked up within thirty days of the auction finishing. Lots of good options to ship this one to you including just driving it home!  It is a fantastic road trip vehicle.   Some other good options are DAS Shippers. uShip and Central Dispatch.
