OK. AFTER SPENDING ALOT OF TIME AND MONEY OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS MAKING SURE I CAN GET IN THIS VEHICLE AND GO ANYWHERE. I HAVE RELUCTANTLY DECIDED TO PASS IT ON TO SOMEONE WHO WILL USE IT MORE.

THE REALITY IS. I JUST DON'T GET TO ENJOY IT. IT HAS NOT DONE ANY HARD OFF-ROAD WORK. AND IT'S TYRES WOULD BE LUCKY TO LEAVE THE PAVEMENT ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR. THIS RIG IS TRUELY SET UP FOR TRAVEL. WHEATHER IT BE CAMPING OR ADVENTURING.

It is a 1993 Ford Maverick LWB. It has the strong TB42 Carbie engine. with a top quality intercooled turbo setup (oil and water cooled) running about 8-9lb. It has got a boost controller fitted. so can run more. when I was tuning and testing after install. it seems happy to run about 15-18lb on lpg. but as the motor is stock I tuned it for a more realistic boost so as not to effect longevity.
I can now overtake vehicles and don't need to drop down a gear or 2 to go up hills (or rises on the highway. lol).
This baby does not drop any fluids. nor does it use any fluids. be it coolant or engine oil. Not a drop between services.
Starts. runs and drives well for what it is. No smoke or dodgy noises anywhere. just smoothness and even spread of useable power.
Clutch is fine. cv joints make no noises on full lock. transfer and gears shift well. overall. everything just fine (except the manifold leak. keep reading. lol)
Tyres are about 50% and have done about 45000kms. Spare is brand new.
Has a portable satnav unit mounted to the dash. it also goes with the car!

Serviced every 5000km with new oil filter every time and Nulon Semi Synthetic oil. Joints greased. door hinges lubed. air cleaner either cleaned or replaced. clutch and brake fluid checked. belts checked. drive-line checked for anything dodgy. leaks etc. Nothing gets skimped on.

Previous owner had vehicle stripped and brown anti-rust goop sprayed all through it from new - so a true rust free vehicle!!.

Things that could do with attention still. just haven'tgot to it yet.

P/S rear door lock doesn't work with central locking. The plastic gear that the rod slides into is broken. tried once before to glue it. no joy.
Rewire rear LED down lights - they are wired through the rear demisters as being garaged. I never use the demisters. Need to run new wire through to make the lights independent.
New window lock needed drivers side rear sliding window - $22 new off ebay. just haven't got to it yet.
AND. the worst thing. and the deciding factor to sell the old truck. the cast exhaust manifold has developed a crack. It was only fitted about 8mths or so ago. and i'm waiting to hear from the supplier to see if they will come to the party and give me a new one. but they are as cheap as $100 delivered from ebay. Crack makes the mav sound crap (like a chaft cutter) when cold. but once it gets some warmth in it. the heat expands the manifold. and you don't hear it.

I've just had enough of tinkering. I don't get to use it. so i'll sell it and just keep using my work car.

THERE IS NO MONEY OWING ON THIS VEHICLE. THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE. IT WILL SERVE SOMEONE WELL FOR THE PURPOSE SHE WAS BUILT.
THE REGO HAS JUST BEEN PAID (OCTOBER 2015 EXP). AND THIS WILL BE SOLD WITH THE REGO AND POSSIBLY A RWC TO THE RIGHT BUYER (PLEASE CALL ME IF YOU WANT ME TO DO IT).
