clean & low mileage all original garage kept classic

 hello everybody !     i will be giving a very good & detailed description of car next which will probably take me an hour or two to type up fully.    so please check right back as im submitting the ad now before it gets too late at night.  

 930 pm . heres the official description .

this is the semi-famous 1979 buick le sabre sport coupe w the famous 3. 8 L turbo-charged v6 motor.   this car might look familiar to you if youve been a subscriber to hemmings muscle machines magazine for a while as this car was featured in the july 2004 issue w great pictures and article about how special / rare and unusual; this particular car is.   name of article was Big Bulky & Bizarre .   lol

heres the summary of that article & reasons its a 1 of 1 car . its the only documented buick lesabre somehow built without a/c by customers request who special ordered this car without the normal luxury options and instead ordered it w everything sporty that was offered including the rare bucket seat & console option but also neat is that this car was built w factory 4 wheel disc brakes and special rear axle that wasnt technically an option for 79 but was available on 1978 buick rivieras and is the heavier duty 10 bolt w discs and posi.
this car has very special dashboard related parts & trim panels due to the non a/c as it has fake outer dash vents that look like normal a/c vents at first glance and also has 3 seperate fresh air ventilation knobs under the dash.   original owner who special ordered this car was military but still nobody knows how the a/c delete and unique dash parts came to be in this car.  
so options list on car is as follows.
turbo-charged 3. 8 v6 engine w 4v
handling package w quick ratio steering & deluxe steering wheel
cloth reclining bucket seats w floor shift & console
cruise control . tilt . rear window defogger . original stereo deck included which was high end digital w clock .
manual windows no power . speedometer speed warning which still works great . chrome road wheels which are on the car still and slightly wider than cars without the handling package . exterior color is a metallic gold original to car and interior was called dark camel.

now heres about the car in general including condition .

awesome " survivor " car overall . very very clean inside and out & always a big hit at local car shows & cruise nights !
 i really love this car and was even able to treat her to a pair of nos floormats recently which were very hard to find.    this car i have owned twice . owned around 2004-2006 and sold due to disability from back operation . nbsp; was able to track this car down again apprx 2 years ago but after a sudden severe back injury and operation apprx 5 months ago and not driving the car at all since . i have to sell her again as im unable to work for a while.  
the car today has 69000 miles and always starts right up and is a lot of fun to cruise around and handles / stops excellently w plenty of power too !    this big buick thinks its a sports car !

body / paint . nice looking original car . paint shines still and very presentable as its factory and only complaints are the tiny rock chips or pitts in the paint up front around the grille.
this car originally had those rubber strips down its sides to prevent door dings and they were removed years ago and i mention this as if you look real close & at the right angle youll see where they used to be but honestly if i didnt mention this . you might not have ever known.   im being picky and very honest here as i want the winner of this car to be very happy w me and the car.
NO rust anywhere at all and never had any rust at all.
underside of car is still original and still rust free and clean in general.
never wrecked and always cared for & it shows.

interior .    very nice !  still all original and kept very clean & i have never driven this car without a towel on the seats and on these nos floormats.   headliner is in mint condition - no sagging and visors are same way - very nice & clean.   original bucket seats have no cigar burns or any unusual wear . no worn areas and are still comfortable today.    rear package tray is still mint looking and only the very top of the backseat has some sun fading only noticable when looking through the back window at it like the picture i posted in the ad - very minor.
dashpad and all of the dash is beautiful  and even the chrome plated plastic bezels are still looking like new with no fading of the chrome.
all dash instruments and lights and buzzers still work as they should.
currently has an old aftermarket sony cassette deck installed w zero mods done to dash bezel and im including its special factory cassette deck which says symphonic sound system and has the digital / lcd screen w clock built in which is why the passenger side dash bezel of this car has no big vlock in it.    ive never had the original deck in the car . i planned on having it checked out & upgraded w i-pod plug in before i was going to install it and reccomend having it all tested before going through the trouble of putting it in.
door panels and armrest pads are all still very nice.
cant say enough about how cool & nice this cars interior is !

drivetrain .
original turbo and the v6 motor had been carefully removed & rebuilt during 2004  so engine is very strong & does not smoke or use oil. turbo sounds awesome spooling up and down when giving it throttle . very well dialed in and crisp accelleration for being a carbureted turbo motor . does not run hot ever and thats been me here in dallas where its hot and can be stuck in traffic for an hour and motor never gets hot.    this motor does not ping or clatter like others do . nbsp; sounds beautiful and electronic control box still works for its ignition timing plus i always run super unleaded w lucas octane booster to be on the safe side and it has never pinged once under full throttle.
i put a real nice new battery in this car back in the spring time . nbsp; only things under hood i would do is to one day install some new plug wires and to also fix its small oil leak which is coming from the turbos oil return hose which lets the turbos oil go back into the engine.
its minor but wanted to point it out.   nothing else leaks but this.  
Transmission is very strong and has never had any soft shifting or any noises or leaks.   fluid is nice and works great as its always done.

i can always pick you up - i would drive this car anywhere and would enjoy the road trip.   its proven itself to be very reliable over the time

tires are still great too - nice white lettered firestone indy 500 series.

i have plenty of documentation & all sorts of collectible items and more that i will be happy to give to the new owner.
i even have a few extra nos parts that car doesnt need but i always liked having extra parts around for my cars and especially could never turn down new old stock stuff for this car.

also. might consider trading down for the right 1977 buick riviera . i have had those in the past and more comfortable for me to drive w all of the luxury options.   i miss my black on red 77 that had 30k miles . even after my 1st back surgery it was fun and practical for me to drive.
now that i had a 2nd back surgery in  5 / 2014 . i now wish i had another full-on luxury car to drive.
