The unmistakably sleek and elegant lines of this stunning Daimler Series III are simply classic throughout. Finished in Argent Silver Rhodium Metallic (code MDE) the Thermoplastic paintwork displays a bright polished finish with only very faint markings commensurate with the cars years. This low mileage example has clearly enjoyed a cherished existence with only very minimal remedial paintwork evident and touched in marks in order to preserve the car. The extensive quality crafted chromework is remarkably preserved and compliments the paintwork beautifully. Only two miniscule dings and a tiny hairline crack to the finish on the rear bumper is worthy of mention and certainly take nothing away from the opulence and presence of this rare survivor. A classic prestige Daimler with real curb side presence.

INTERIOR
Far more indulgent and luxurious than its Jaguar brethren. Daimler trimmers and craftsmen have achieved the upmost heights of refinement and ambience. The original Isis Blue (code JEF) leather trimmed upholstery is in good order with some markings. The sumptuous anatomically designed seats have retained all shape and structural integrity and offer armchair levels of comfort! All the leather material is fully intact and the matching door cards are pristine. The facia with burr walnut fillets with matchwood inlays is simply impeccable and all switchgear is perfect in operation. The working original fitment stereo cassette remains in place exactly as Daimler intended. The headlining is clean and free from damage but has become stretched in places. A delightful interior condition fully commensurate with such a low mileage example. offering a real sense of occasion for any occupant.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The exceptional in-line six cylinder well proven XK 4. 2 litre engine mated to the Lucas-Bosch ‘L' Jetronic electronic fuel injection system produces 205bhp and offers effortless performance with ample power reserves. The 3-speed automatic torque convertor transmission is beautifully matched to the XK engine giving a perfect driving combination and civilised manner. Absolute motoring indulgence.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The distinctive and attractive 15in spoked cast alloy wheels are shod in quality 205/70/ZR15 tyres with excellent tread remaining. The previous owner has touched in marks to the alloys wheels. Servo-assisted hydraulic circuit four wheel disc brakes ventilated to front offer powerful and safe stopping capabilities.

HISTORY FILE
This incredible example was registered new on the 5th September 1984 by Jaguar Main Dealers Mann Egerton & Co Ltd in Nottingham. The first keeper Mr Melville Kemp took delivery and kept the vehicle until January 1997 whereby the second and only keeper since Mr Alexander Rennie purchased the car. Mr Rennie. a Daimler enthusiast. used the vehicle for retirement pleasure and a stamped service book displaying many main dealer and specialist entries helps to document the remarkably low 58. 03 miles covered. Used only sparingly in recent years due to his advancing years. Mr Rennie kept his pride and joy strictly garaged when not in use. All the original Jaguar handbooks. dealer guides. and radio manual are contained in the green Jaguar folder. An original 1984 Daimler sales brochure completes the history file for this very special example. Acquired from the Estate of Mr Rennie following his passing.
