Up for auction and selling NO RESERVE is this rare 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Roadster
The C3 1969 Corvettes are still considered to be the most desirable in the market place. the Stingray is an incredibly beautiful design. the Corvette C3 was patterned after the Mako Shark II designed by Larry Shinoda. Executed under Bill Mitchells direction. the Mako II had been initiated in early 1964. Once the mid-engined format was abandoned the Shinoda/Mitchell car was sent to Chevrolet Styling under David Holls. where Harry Haga's studio adapted it for production on the existing Sting Ray chassis. The resulting lower half of the car was much like the Mako II. except for the softer contours. The concept car's name was later changed to Manta Ray. The C3 also adopted the "sugar scoop" roof treatment with vertical back window from the mid-engined concept models designed by the Duntov group.

Over all the Vette is in great original shape. a special unmolested survivor Roadster that is complete matching numbers car. Hope in and go and enjoy this car. mechanically the engine is sound and runs out very. very well with a smooth ride with lots of top end power. The engine is in good order and is all original and untouched and is amazingly clean with all components in tact. The exterior paint is in good shape and has a nice shine. not perfect and has some flaws and blemishes in the finish but a nice 10 footer with nice straight panels. remeber this paint is over 30 years old so obviously the car has been very well maintained.
