Detailed like the Original

In 1965. I had the unique opportunity to ride in an original 1965 Grey Shelby Cobra 427/425HP. The acceleration would pin you back in the seat. That memory became a tattoo on my brain. My Backdraft Shelby Cobra reminds me so much of that original. Original Shelby's were built in a garage for racing with hand tools right down to the rivets in the hood. 15" rims and tires were the look. Low profile run flats and 18" rims found on many Shelby's today are far from that original classic style. Like Superformance. Backdrafts are not just kit cars by definition; they are turnkey cars that come assembled from the factory. You have selection of engines. transmissions and other components. This is critical in eliminating worries that corners may have been cut in the build process.   All BD's are built to very high quality standards. Hands down this Shelby Cobra wins every time. This Cobra demands attention/photos where ever you travel. I feel the grey color combination is the most original look for a Cobra. Well because. I rode in one! This Cobra has never seen the rain. Complete top and car cover all fit easily in the trunk if needed. Full top was only used to block the hot Florida sun. Again. with the tops removable rear window. air passes through the car making a drive very comfortable. This Roush 427R has been carefully cared for. The engine runs very strong and has never over heated. This engine was dyno-tuned by BD. producing more horsepower then any other similar 427R .   All Backdrafts are titled as:"1965 Roas CV. "  Classic car insurance companies classify these vehicles as a classic car resulting in savings over regular car insurance. I have never had a car that I have enjoyed so much. The car is awesome fun to drive and the sound of the engine is amazing. Anyone. in the Shelby Cobra World in Dade.
