1979 Toyota Corona LE Liftback 5 Speed.  73. 176 Miles

From what I understand the story of the car to be. it was purchased new in Oregon by a couple. driven for 3 years then the husband passed away. The car was barely driven until the grandaughter bought it for her daughter to have at school. The girl took one look at the car and said "No Way!". Up for sale it went on Craigslist several years ago.

I purchased the car in WA. it was garaged for about 2 years before I bought it. The car was in good running condition. very clean interior and looked good at 20 ft. Lots of little dings from parking lots. several scratches and some paint fade. It has been garaged in a climate controlled environment ever since.

Car has the 20R. 5 speed and no A/C.
It has a Toyota tape player in the console. wood shift knob with leather boot and the wood emergency brake handle.  

Original interior was covered from the start with seat covers and is brand new.
Original carpet. door panels and seats are all excellent.  

Car was repainted professionally.
The body was taken apart. doors. hatchback. removed all the glass. trim. weather stripping. clips. grommets. screws. etc.
Minor body work done. repainted and reassembled and never saw rain after that.
Doors sills. jambs and rockers are all pristine.  
Bumpers. trim. weather stripping. rubber. seals and stainless is all there and all in good shape.  

Engine bay was mildly cleaned. fire wall and under the hood are original and clean.
The hood nose trim has a rock ding in it. Has the original 4 Koito headlights.

Radio has electrical interference but works. Rear wiper does not work. but I never drove it in the rain so I didn't bother to fix it.  

Digital clock works as does everything else.  

No oil leaks. doesn't smoke or burn oil.
Cooling system is all in working order.
Carb is dialed in. starts. runs and drive just like it should.

Brake. struts. shocks. clutch. radiator. belts. hoses. battery. tires were all done once I got the car and I drove it about 600 miles since.  

Transmission and clutch are smooth. first gear has a very very slight gear whine in first. it was fine when I parked it 3 years ago.
Drive shaft has new joints and was balanced.  

Storage has been in a heated. climate and humidity controlled garage. on carpet for several years.
There is no rust on the car nor has there ever been.  

$500 deposit due 48 hours after auction end. I can hold the car for a reasonable amount of time after the end of the auction.  

Final payment due by 7 days after auction end or when you pick up the car. which ever is sooner. Located in Seattle.
