Up for sale is a 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera
Previous owner sent the car to Precision Porsche in LA to do their GT2 body conversion.
This is a fiberglass Kit which included the bumpers. rockers. fenders. and quarters. The Interior was also updated to 993 upper and lower dash. center console. door panels. and rear seats. The windows are all 993. Car was painted a nice yellow at the time.
The body is in great condition very little rust. The paint is not perfect.
Mechanical:
Stock 2. 7L engine with CIS injection runs great!
Stock transmission runs and shifts great!
The underside of the car is in pristine condition
Previous owner did the following:
- New Clutch
- Tune-up
- All Fluids
- Fuel Pump
- Rebuilt front caliper
- New OEM Brake Master Cylinder
- Replaced brake fluid and bled all the brakes
- Paid windshield shop to install windshield
- Windshield Wiper Blades
- OEM gasket for side mirrors (to mount to doors)
- New OEM cable for front hood release
- F'uel Cap
- Rear Trunk Latch
- OEM 993 grill for rear decklid
(The big yellow painted GT2 rear wing is part of the sale of the car. I just like the subtle rear look)
- Headlight bulbs
- Front blinker bulbs
- Rear tail lamp bulbs
- Carbon Fiber door handles
- 996 Turbo Twist wheels
- Lowered suspension. checked and lubed torsion bars. etc.
(Just need to take the car to the alignment shop since car is lowered)
- Replaced worn tires on the car with a set of Hoosier Track tires I had
- Registration is valid and current to September 2015.
I will require that you tow the car upon purchase.
Rear brake light - need to run one wire to bottom of the brake pedal. The front seat belts need to be bolted back in place. The front bumper needs to be re-aligned and bolted down again. Right now there is a pronounced gap between it and the hood. Car has power windows. but passenger side is not working. Driver side is fine. Driver door does not open (broken door lock actuator).
Clean CA Title in hand. Just need the right buyer. Otherwise. I'll keep it and continue to clean it and make it better. Since this a SMOG EXEMPT car. it could make an awesome road legal TRACK CAR. Thank you.
