Triumph Stag 1976-nice example -manual withO/D

This is a very nice 76 Stag in Inca Yellow with a factory hardtop option. The bulk of restoration work was carried out over a two year period 06-08. The paint and bodywork are in very good shape with no issues . The underneath is also very good and has been waxoiled regularly . There is an extensive history file of receipts and old mots etc showing many thousands spent over the years . The car has done very little mileage over the last 5 years and has only been used during the summer months . Recent work includes a new mot . a full service and the addition of custom made expansion tank system as recommended by owners club. back in 2008 the car had a valuation of 8500 pounds so knowing how much stags have risen recently this is an average price for an above average car. We have added up approx. . nvoices in the history file . earing in mind there are a lot missing ie there is no invoice for the bodywork and paintwork and they alone add up to approx. 10500 pounds .
Engine & Transmission
The engine is largely stock with a few useful additions . It has electronic ignition and a custom made expansion tank . The car has had a full service and not done many miles since . the carbs were rebuilt and set up so car is running spot on . No smoke issues. no leaks . no rattles. good oil pressure . he car keeps a constant mid range temperature . We notice from old invoices car has had full recon diff and full recon gearbox.
Wheels. Tyres & Brakes
All standard alloys which are very good condition with no kerb marks etc. The radials are in very condition .
Exterior
The inca yellow paintwork is very good with no rust issues . The underside is in very good condition having been regularly wax oiled . The brightwork appears to be largely original and is in good condition. The car was stripped to a shell in 2006-2008 whereupon the bulk of restoration work was undertaken . It has had very little use since . nly going out on nice days to shows etc . Comes with the optional hardtop which is in good condition. The car has had a new hood and frame in its life. There is the original hardtop which is in good condition.
Interior & Equipment
The interior is in very good shape. There is no excessive wear to seats. oor cards . arpets etc . All the original gagues work as they should . There is an aftermarket radio fitted with rear speakers. The electric windows work fine . All in all a very nice interior. The Stag retains its original steering wheel which again is excellent.
