This is an opportunity to own one of the rarest 1967 Mustang GTA Convertible S code 390 cubic inch.  The Marti Report documents it as one of one in its particular form. This was a special order car. built in Fremont. California at the Ford Motor Plant.   It was a special order with Charcoal Frost paint chosen from the Thunderbird paint chart.   Also. deluxe tilt and swing away steering wheel. steel style wheels. turn signal indicators are in the hood. four tip exhaust system. It has a bench seat and a power convertible top.   I have the original owners manual. a spare tire. jack and a custom fit cover.   This is a very highly restored car and attention to detail is outstanding.

In the restoration process the main goal was to maintain all original parts and to keep the cars authenticity.   I was fortunate that the car was in its original condition when I purchased it.   All work was substantiated by the build sheet provided by the Martiautoworks report.

This Mustang is ready to either drive. show. or placed in a museum.   This is a Gold Class winner at the MCA National Show in 2007. it won the best overall open/closed class in the 1967/1968 class.   It also won First in Class at the Hillsborough Concours d'Elegance in 2009. All restoration work has been documented with pictures and placed in binders.

I first met this car in 1968. when I attempted to purchase it. however the owner would not sell it to me at that time.   I contacted her 25 years later. that is when I purchased it.   The restoration process was five years.   Car has 100 miles on it since it was restored. mileage stated is not actual mileage.  The car has always be stored inside and trailered to events.

In 2009 I had the opportunity to work on a similar car to mine.   This was a 1967 Mustang convertible GTA 390 S code . the color was Springtime Yellow.   The car went to Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale. Arizona. it sold for $110. 00. 00  This is a matter of record. lot # 1234.  It was not a special order car.   The same restorer that did my car. did this one.

These cars are far and few between and rarely come up for sale.

Can ship through conventional methods. such as Plycar. Fed-EX. and Reliable Transport.   This would be at buyers expense.

Did this one come with the 8 track Lear player? Interested in 4 speed only, no automatics. Fairly plain on the exterior except for the GTA insignia. Our previous 67 GTA 390, 4brl, convertible was a beast off the line, smoking tires thru third gear with tons of tourque but hey, my last drive was back in 68 and I can still remember every hairy sceaming burn out as I left my high school parking lot! How much for one now?
