Vehicle Description

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: A TOTAL NUT AND BOLT MCA CONCOURS RESTORATION. FEATURED IN MUSTANG MONTHLY JAN/07. CONSISTANT TROPHY WINNER! Has never been in rain or gotten wet as long as I have owned it(2007)and is in a climate controlled garage. Trailored to longer distance shows. Bare metal to a beautiful show quality finish. NO major bodywork/collision repair needed. NO cutting and replacing of 1/4's. Was well looked after by the previous four owners. Only item not removed during restoration was the headliner. Original drivers' door data plate intact. COLOR: C5 BLACK JADE/BLACKOUT ON THE HOOD. INTERIOR: 3AA BLACK MACH 1 VINYL-07G (July 07/69) AXLE-V 3:91 traction lok. Serial numbers match with fender aprons (picture available) and dash pad tag. Original owner's certi-card. mca judging sheets had to replace battery apron (replicated spot welds) re'chromed original bumpers. boomerangs. new carlite windshield. Bolt in door glass (she's a late 69). All new rubber seals installed. nos f/rear side markers. new exterior door handle kit. New grille trim. amk chassis. engine bolt kits. New dashpad and drivers' seat upholstery replaced. Red stripe in seatback matches with ORIGINAL PASSANGER SEAT. Instrument cluster/clock bezel professionally vacuum plated. New floor/fold down carpet set. Original door panels retained (nice shape). restored console. Deluxe wheel restored. no cracks). Underside was sprayed with red oxide then black jade was blown under body. All suspension pieces removed and detailed. Trunk complete with polyglass no size tire. ORIGINAL JACK & TRUNK MAT. Original rear end 3. 91 (with tag) was detailed red oxide. All new breaking system. stainless lines included. New master cylinder NOS  cad cap. Front suspension parts were all restored. THE HEART AND SOUL of any show car (muscle car especially) is the engine bay. Complete smog. all correct belts. hoses. heatshield. Re'cord original radiator. rebuilt alternator. complete original shaker. snorkle. stove pipe. and h/shield. PCV tube and components restored. Engine components freshened at time of restoration. Reverse cast "C" block with extra web in journals. No serial number on the block. (typical of cj's) all scj internals intact. One UA crank. 427 lemans rods. windage tray. wide harmonic and pork chop. Plus of course external oil cooler and oil filter adapter. CJ heads were rebuilt using stainless valves hardened seats. mild porting and gasket matches comp cam 268 lifters (dove adj. roller rockers. spacers and thick wall rocker. shafts from DSC motor sports) Rebuilt water pump. rebuilt carter "X" 4441s fuel pump. Using a holley 770 street avenger carb (runs great) But do have the original C9AF-N holley carb. CJ cast iron intake. CJ exhaust manifold. Dist (C8OZ-J) was rebuilt re'curbed. Original c9 "snake" valve covers. Car was judged in the MCA concours driven event (missed gold by 6 or so points) (That's when Mustang Monthly took pictures of car). After showing the Mack1 for a couple of years. I decided to swap out the c6 trans and install a 4 speed. I used all the correct items including a rebuilt large input close ratio trans. Rug-AE2 new center force clutch. flywheel. balanced to the NOS 428 CJ flexplate that was previously in the car. All parts to convert to automatic are included. C6 recommend a rebuild. Stock 12" converter. Have correct length auto driveshaft and speedo. cable drag pack adapter. At time of trans swap I had a flowmaster (3 chamber). 2 1/2" dual exhaust system welded in. Including new rolled tips replacing the repo transverse system (retained and included). Now you can hear and feel the rumble.   You see the odd CJ Mustang on eBay BUT rarely a SUPER CJ! THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!! Extra pictures of restoration available. Shipping fees will be the buyers' responsibility. Seller offers no warranties or guaranties. No it won't get 30mpg. Sold in AS-IS condition. It drives great and is a great deal. have a lot more in it. No doubt you could take it straight to Barrett Jackson and make money. Factory power steering is sweet and no leaks. I baby her. 'm not into spinning tires and jerking it around. My Dad has the same car and he turned 70 this year and said "things" don't mean as much to him as they once did. He told me if I sold my car he would sell me his and I figure down the road his would have much more meaning to me. That's the ONLY reason I am selling it. The car is much nicer in person. It needs nothing and everything works. Rim blow. nterior lights. lock. arking brake light. auge lights are LED so the its bright(looks great at night because the original are to dim). I also put a device Hotronics makes that is toga switch hidden under the dash that cuts all the power. I have the 3 previous owners names(great history) and the Deluxe Marti Report that says its 1 of 4. My Dad would take 100k for his. t's not advertised anywhere but I can tell you about it if your interested. His was re-done and never driven.
