I am acting as agent for the 3rd owner of this stunning. mechanically excellent 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450 SL with a documented 47. 00 miles finished in champagne metallic over tan interior.   The owner. a past multiple National Ferrari and Porsche concours winner. has owned the car for approximately 17 years and has driven it roughly 5. 00 miles over that time period.

The car. since delivered new in 1979. has always been in South Florida and garaged.   Its undercarriage is completely dry and solid while the entire car is rust free.

The car is an exceptionally striking and unusually well-preserved example.   The original body is straight. retains correct panel fit and gaps.   Paint. original bright work. rubber and glass condition are aptly demonstrated in photographs.   It has no body dings or dents.   The owner replaced the original soft-top and tires with correct. original replacements last month although they were serviceable and in very good condition.   The car comes with its original hard-top. cover and stand.

The interior is near flawless and almost original.   Everything works as designed when it was first placed into service.   The trunk is immaculate housing the original spare tire/wheel. jack and battery box (with new battery).   The car comes with its original manuals/books. records. window-sticker. subsequent maintenance records and original two leather key fobs still sealed in plastic as they were when delivered with the car new.   The car also comes with car cover and sheepskin seat covers (costing @$500. 00 and still in as-new condition).
