I'm selling my 1956 Chevrolet Belair 2 door Sedan that I recently completed a frame off restoration on.   This car has been in the works for the last three years and was just completed in July.   It was transported in an enclosed trailer down to Louisville KY for the Street Rod Nationals.  In Louisville it was selected to be in StreetSceen and Speedway Motors did a photo shoot for their new magazine.   This was a great opportunity that I was glad to be a part of.   I never had any intentions of keeping this car. it was built to sell which allows me to move on to the next project.

The car was media blasted and epoxy primed before the metal work was completed.   The car has had a few small patches but retains 95% of the original floors and all of the original braces.   It has the factory inner and outer rockers. and all of the factory sheet metal.   A small patch was installed in the driver's side front foot area and the panels below the truck lid were replaced.   The car has the original perfect quarters and wheel wells.

The car was painted Electronic Green Metallic base clear. with two large panels in the roof painted Bong Water Green.   Countless hours have been put into the paint and body and it shows very well in the Sunlight.

The chassis was powder coated high gloss black. as well as the tubular control arms and transmission cross member.   A 327 Chevy was placed in the frame rails. a polished 4 carb intake. with 4 rebuilt Rochester 2g's on top. Cal custom valve covers. with a Muncie M 21 4 speed with none other than a Hurst shifter.  A Power Master alternator designed to look like a generator is mounted to Corvette 2 1/2" exhaust manifolds.  In the rear  a 1967 Camaro 8. 2. 10 bolt rear axle in attached to new leaf springs.  New Wheel Vintique OEM chrome wheels with spider caps are mounted to black walled radials.  Every part on the chassis is new and has been detailed.

The interior was completed tastefully in white tuck and roll with hidden stitches.  It is done in a crisp vinyl that has a leather feel to it.   The tuck and roll continues up to the rear package tray where it is visible through the rear window.   All new weather strips and rubbers were installed when the interior was completed.

Every piece of chrome is new and all of the original stainless has been buffed to a chrome like finish.

On Oct-05-14 at 15:56:01 PDT. seller added the following information:

The hood isn't on the car because I like the look of it with it off. The Engine looks to nice to cover it up. it deserves to be shown off. I will install the hood if the new owner would like it on.  The hood is original to the car and painted to match. The hinges are also painted and it is an easy install.
