Willys : Station Wagon 2 Door

1953 Willys Overland 2 door Wagon.  Originally a 2WD.  On the road over 8 years with no issues. Approx. 8. 00 miles.

Frame:  Fat Man Independent Front Suspension with Tubular Control Arms  Manual Rack steering.  

Rear section of frame is an S & W kit with a narrowed 9" Ford rear.   Ladder Bar Suspension with QA1 Coilover shocks.   Gear ratio is 3. 50.   Professionally welded front to back.    Frame reinforced in front for engine.   Painted Smoke Gray

Engine: 350 cu. in. bored . 30 over (355)  Mild street cam.   Keith Black Pistons. Edlebrock Intake w/ 600 Holley (elec. choke).   Block Hugger coated Headers with 2 1'2" exhaust (Walker Mufflers).    HEI ignition.   Griffin Aluminum Radiator.   6 blade mechanical fan.   Custom made 14 gal. fuel cell with with sending unit in correct location.

Transmission:  350 Turbo with shift kit & 2. 00 stall converter.   Jaguar Transmission cooler. Ford Truck Driveshaft.

Body:  Remained mostly stock with only a few modifcations - Raised rear wheel openings.   Frenched license plate.   A few repairs were made to the body and shows no rust!  Underside coated with POR-15.   All new body mounts.

Paint:  Hawaiian Blue with White Roof.   Base Coat/Clear Coat.   I've done all the painting on this car.   I'm an amature. not a professional so it's a respectable job.

Interior:  Aftermarket Vintage Heat & Defrost system.   Seats recovered in Cloth & Vinyl.   Jump seat in rear.   Seat Belts. Wooden slats in floors.   Carpet upfront with insulation in floors/firewall and ceiling.

All new tinted glass & Rubber.   V-Butt Windhield.   No center post.  All doors lock.

Tires new last year - Mickey Thompson Radials on rear ( 31" x 18" x 15").   Fronts are 215 x 70 15" Michelins.  All on Truedesign Steel Rims (powdercoated). 15 x 6 front & 15 x 14 rear rims.  Ford bolt pattern  Front end alignment done as well.   Car rides well.

Features include:  Power Disc Brakes/Electric Wipers/GM Tilt Column/AM-FM-CD Player.   Speedometer recondition with 0 miles.   Interior lighting.   New Wiring Kit throughout.   Halogen lights up front and LED tail lights.

Theme of car is a "Surf Wagon".   I've added an aftermarket Roof Rack and had a Wooden Surfboard made as a disply feature.   Pa. state insp.

This car rides and drives and shows well.   Had alot of fun with it. but time to send it on.
