Nicely restored Land Rover that has spent the majority of its life in Oregon. and Southern California. and finally North Carolina.  I bought the vehicle from its previous owner who was in the process of dismantling it to swap out the original engine for a Nissan Diesel.  Fortunately. no cutting of the frame or other alterations had been performed.  It had a new Marsland galvanized chassis. bought from Rover's North. The bulkhead and body had zero rust and corrosion.  It was painted inside and out in the original Rover Pastel Green.  The engine and drive train are original and work perfectly.  The front swivels have been rebuilt. It has a rebuilt Rochester carb. electronic ignition. and a spin on oil filter.  The rear wiring has been replaced and the alternator rebuilt.  The interior is original with one small tear on the driver's side.  It is very hard to find a Rover in this condition.  It still needs a little work mostly cosmetic and it needs door seals.  The door skins were removed from all the doors and any rust from the frame cut out and new metal was welded in.  the frames were then galvanized and the skins put back on.

On Sep-29-14 at 16:40:33 PDT. seller added the following information:

The bulkhead had zero rust.  I sandblasted it and dunked it in epoxy enamel similar to ECR's bulkhead restoration process.  I turned the bulkhead every which way in order for the epoxy to run into every crevice.  I then hung it up to dry in the sun.  I then sanded any runs and gave it three coats of epoxy primer and three coats of Dupont Centari Pastel Green.  In the pictures it appears that some panels have different shades.  This is because some panels have been wet sanded and buffed and some haven't.  There is one spot on the drivers door where I cracked the paint installing the door tops.  there is virtually no body filler except a skim coat from where the NADA lights were removed and the holes filled.  The original chassis was virtually rust free and I sand blasted it and galvanized it and sold it.  The dash is a birt of a work in progress due to  the scarcity of used ones.  It needs one or two more pieces to complete it as well as a top dash recover.  The bonnet skin was also removed and the frame galvanized.  The brake system has been completely replaced and all bearings and seals in the drive train were replaced except for the trans which had no problems.  All the galvanized trim was re galvanized.  I finished the restoration about two years ago.
