This 1967 MB 250SL was mildly customized for a very famous German actor. Curd (Curt) Jurgens. Mr. Jurgens relocated to Hollywood in late 1966 to film the 007 movie The Spy Who Loved Me.   As you can see. 1969 seats were installed along with real veneer on the dash and 1969 Rims and that 280SL badge. All of these could be reversed but you would lose that history.

We had a two week parade of pictures. magnet tests. nbsp;as well as videos and so on and so on for a gentleman who loves a good virtual tire kicking.

We got to know every bit of her. She has no bondo. No rust ever. She she came from California originally and when I say extremely solid. that's what it means. She has always been that way.

According to the gentleman I bought her from. this original motor was rebuilt about ten years ago an somewhere around 10k miles. From my understanding. the car sat for ten years after Curd passed in 1982 and the leaks and smoke made it worthy of a rebuild. NO LEAKS and NO SMOKE!!! This is 100% the Original motor and 4 speed trans.

The interior is very clean overall with some bolster wear indicative a man who was 6'4.   He also left a stain from his greasy Brill cream head on the headliner which at 6'2 I cannot quite touch. Somebody large owned this car for sometime. Gauges are working along with the very nice sound system which is satellite.
