Fresh restoration! Includes modern 5. 3L Vortec motor and THM-400 transmission! AC. power steering. power brakes. tilt column. Heidt's front end and more!

The Ford F-series was introduced in 1948; not only was it their first post-war truck but also the first that rode on a chassis developed specifically for it. Offered through 1952. the first-gen truck was offered with in a plethora of GVWR. from the F-1's 4700 pound max to the F-8. which was capable of up to 22. 00 pounds! The F-1 was definitely the most popular and offered the choice of Flathead 6 or V8 power. All said and done. this marked the beginning of one of the most commercially successful namesakes in the automobile industry.

We are very excited to present this 1952 Ford F-1 pickup truck! Finished in a beautiful shade of Cardinal Red. this F-1 wears a similarly striking red vinyl interior with white piping! The truck is fitted with a Vortec 5300 (donor motor from a 2005 Silverado with 34. 00 miles that was involved in a non-frontal collision) and freshly rebuilt THM-400 Automatic transmission. This truck has been fully restored and is fitted with a host of neat features including Heidt's independent front suspension with rack & pinion steering and motor mounts. The truck also features color-coordinated dashboard. white bumpers and grille. Air Conditioning. power steering. power disc brakes. Dolphin gauges (fuel/temp/oil/volts. speedo/odo). tilt column. 4-spoke billet steering wheel. driver side-view mirror. billet pedals. aluminum radiator. wood bed and stakes. bedlined bed sides and running boards. exterior chrome dress-up. tinted side glass. and painted engine plastics! The car is riding on a set of chrome wheels with chrome hubcaps and 235/70R16 Hercules Terra Trac HT tires.

The previous owner acquired this 215ci Inline 6 powered truck in April of 2011 and decided that the 100% rust free example would make a great hot rod candidate. Having been in long-term Arizona ownership its whole life. it was certainly a jewel among the many F-1s that have been used and abused. Restoration of this awesome truck started in January 2012. where paint. bright work. and the engine swap were performed at Big Nasty Motorsports in Hillsboro. MO. Receipts from Big Nasty total $25. 74. The car received a rebuilt THM-400 transmission. torque converter and linkage. 8 new fuel injectors. PCM. LS1 5-pin air cleaner. straight water neck return system. new O2 sensors and Dayco polyrib drive belts in late September of 2012. as well as a Highway 15 wiring kit. BP Automotive wiring harness installed by Old Dog Street Rods. In October. all seals and lock cylinder were replaced and the car received a host of improvements. from pedals to LED lighting upgrades and a new alternator. In October of 2014. the truck got its finishing interior touches with a new black headliner. new carpet. new rear window seal and new custom red vinyl seat upholstery with white piping. The back is finished with dual 2. 5” exhaust with aluminum tubing. Moroso mufflers and custom tips. Finally. a 12V conversion means greater starting and brighter headlights and more functional accessories.

The odometer on the truck reads 168 miles. which are since restoration. The truck remains fully functional in every regard and shows incredibly well. The paint. stainless steel. chrome and interior all appear like-new with minimal to no signs of use anywhere. The engine/transmission combo in this truck make it very functional. both as a work vehicle or in parades. We would welcome any additional questions you may have on this F-1; please don't hesitate to ask!
